Did we miss something?

Err... rose said it best here. But briefly, yes, we did. Something in "Stomach contents (October 13, 1945)":

Bang Head Bang Head Bang Head

Yep, and now I bet we're all a bit gun-shy of missing something again.
I'm not even looking for cards and feel tension that we didn't get everything from Saturday (like the card for Maria/Martin)

[Warning! Wild SPEC alert]
That said, I wonder if Maria/Martin's card could be a 2005 card. (S)he would be about 71 (11 in 1945 according to one of the poker chats), and most likely married at some time. Depending on the theory to which you subscribe (and I'm inclined toward Shad0's) she would likely have a different last name.
Now go find it gUNslingers.

The prayer that Father Mueller is saying in German is the "Prayer of Faith". His lines were from James 5:14. "Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord."

I am not Catholic ,but I believe that is the beginning of the sacrament known as "Last Rites." Father Mueller is giving last rites to the man he just murdered.

Does anyone else feel that Mueller killing Johnny WhiteCloud just didn't fit with his character? I know Lucky said that Mueller killed Johnny, but I am having a hard time buying it. Oh well.

Considering Whitecloud saved Meuller's and Mar(tin)ia's lives only a couple of days before, I too find it difficult to believe.
He is shown in the comic with a smoking gun standing over the body, and in Maurice's "Dinner Money" text, the indications are that there were two men and no hint of an argument.
Oh well indeed.

Why are John Whitecloud and Franz Mueller still listed as "alive" on their respective card pages?

It appears that the status of the 1945 characters is according to that time frame, but still the comics indicate that both were killed. Was this not the case? Are they both merely wounded? Was this a staged event to trick Otto who appears to be watching from the window? Will this be updated when the hidden powers spot this spec? Time will tell.

I agree with spec that Mueller might not have shot Whitecloud, but a man will do a lot to protect a brother.

Why did Maria/Martin lie to Whitecloud when he saved them and say that they were being robbed by Otto's men, only to tell Whitecloud later in the bar the whole story about the treasure and the hanged man?

Oops! Head just asploded! See you tomorrow!

@Shad0
Oh, that update...totally forgot about it. I think I didn't even read the text underneath the picture...

@Arana
LCP had slip-ups before, By that alone, I wouldn't read too much into that. Remember Vic was listed as alive a long time after he died. For some reason it doesn't seem to be that easy to change the status.
But yes...I don't believe that Mueller killed Johnny Whitecloud. I'll open a new spec about this in a minute.

Here's what's confusing me ... The relationship between Mueller and M. Halder.

First, M. Halder lies outright when Whitecloud approaches them being questioned, saying that they were being robbed rather than questioned. (The kid is smart and observant; "he" obviously knew what was really going on.)

Second, "he" claims Mueller is his uncle; given the different last names, one would assume that to be on "his" mother's side.

But when Svetlana gave Father Mueller the gun, she persuaded him to kill Whitecloud by holding over Mueller's head that his *brother* would otherwise be liquidated in Russia. If Henryk Halder were his brother, though, they'd have the same last name ...

Something isn't adding up here ...

I'm not a Catholic expert, but don't priests sometimes take different names when they are called to service?

Or, he could still be his brother-in-law.

Just thinking outloud (while I rushed back to my hotel room for the update and forgot I was now in the Central Time Zone - so I'm too early and will be in a conference when it really happens).

I don't think priests change their last name.

My mom is cool? Shocked

OMG Tagalog has infixes! I would totally use it in an ARG!

The fact that I speak it and I still needed to find out what Infixes are amuses me....Wink

A bit after the fact but I'm still in catch-up mode...

My linguistics prof in college explained infixes with this example:
