Exactly. When Teddy was first mentioned I was one of those who recalled the pics and postited that it could be Teddy, but again they never reposted them so all bets are off.

That was my original thought as well, and alot of the pieces look as if they could be buoyant, however the metal pieces certainly wouldn't be unless attached to something that was.

Also the earthquakes are interesting, some super power that he has maybe? Hopefully we can figure out that connection.

 		Rescue boats on OIL rigs are typically of the type that look like mini-submarines. The inflatable raft leads me to believe that this is from the eco-terrorists

My only concern is the fact that none of the pictures make it official that the guy in them could be Teddy. I really don't think the french woman's missing son is the 'American' speaking Teddy. Just my thought that. In fact, I don't think any of those pictures are Teddy... Remember, Jamie's... promiscuous. Could be just another guy.

Also right. I wasn't saying that this makes it any more likely that the French woman's son is Teddy, just stating that you can't discredit any spec on the subject simply because he doesn't look like the old picture.

Is there any real reason for showing us his picture or listening to his mother, or is it just to make the news story feel more real by giving it a human interest component?

There's a publicity shot with Rob covering his ears as I recall, maybe even the people he was with doing the same as well. I'm pretty sure that at full roar this thing is staggeringly loud - like approaching 200 db or more loud.

It seems unlikely they would sink pilars all the way down to the seafloor in such a geologically active area so my bet is on a mobile platform.

The location shown in 2 different reports don't even jive to each other. Even at the Mid-Atlantic ridge the ocean is around 2 miles deep easily. You don't make hard structures at that depth, you float a rig and drop anchor devices with cables.

 		The thing that makes me think "Madame Leclerc" is a setup is the fact that the French even know who she is. No one else seems to know who is working for TAG, how did the news station find a family member so fast?
Also why no first name? Because showing it's Janice would tip off that it is related to the post on TIDO to TAG?

It's conceivable that she contacted the media to see if they had any information for her after being stonewalled by Tagruato.

Funny thing is, we had 25+ pages discussing a black dot that everyone was convinced was the monster because:

"They wouldn't put anything in the videos if it didn't MEAN something!!"

And the interview with LeClerc gets few mentions. They interview a French woman about her son on a top secret Japanese Oil(?) platform, the picture she shows resembles the original (now removed) Teddy Picture.

Is she Janice? Is her son Teddy? Is her name really LeClerc? Is Teddy's name really Hanssen?

If, like has been said, EVERYTHING in these videos is a clue, then this might be a big one. Hell, these videos proved TIDOwave is IG. The French one could be what gives us a new Slut video.

But why would she contact the media prior to this story?
What indication would she have that anything is wrong with her son?
Not hearing from a grown son working in an isolated location for a couple days hardly seems like reason to go to the media.
