I've been able to produce a 10 byte gap between my original opening of the site in FF, and a second one I opened in safari by reloading the safari one occasionally now it's ahead of my original.

Oooh, I'm going to try that! Maybe with IE as well.

Vapor, don't close that screen...or refresh.

I was at the same place you were. I pressed the button on the top right to "reboot" the system.

Now I am back at 14866 Sad

Does your work interfere with your internet connection at all? Or even use it?

I've been able to produce a 10 byte gap between my original opening of the site in FF, and a second one I opened in safari by reloading the safari one occasionally now it's ahead of my original.

This is odd stuff.

OK it's at it again. Hmmm.. I'll keep you guys posted. I don't know what will happen but if it keeps jumping up like this, it will finish a lot sooner than 1 week for me.

Code:

[1] Previously accessed
[2] Sectors loaded
[3] Sectors loaded
[4] Sectors loaded
[5] Accessing File List B4 - 32534 of 134640 Bytes Loaded

Jesus, that thing is going crazy, how much did it jump this time?

@wildoofsmeg
hehe! Laughing

I love this story so far, even if we haven't any Smile

I suppose, the 20 []-Slots aren't designed for 20 Levels or topics of story, but just for satisfactional cowntdown visuals: imagine, in 7 days we have all the screen full of
Code:
[X] Previously accessed

It's impressive, it's immersive, better than a just small pathetic 1-line-countdown Smile

Simply a Countdown?

It's acting more like a countdown clock, one byte per second. It loaded a chunk to begin, then started trickling data like it was simply catching up.

I blame the beautiful Will 2.0 . I learned about this film last night minutes before everything started being found.

Ok well it seems to have gone back to an even 5 bytes/sec now and no new sectors loaded.

I honestly wasn't doing anything except copying and pasting lines into the codes here.

I use a couple of java based programs and a CRT database. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I'm going to leave it open all day and see what happens.

Oooh, you can move around the screen if you click and drag. XD

There's a print window behind it! Very Happy
