Prolly end up going with "Frost".

Don't get side-tracked!!
Focus on the important things!

Please, let's not get side tracked and lose focus of what's important! We must discover where we go from here, what's next for this viral campaign? We must be missing something, somewhere...

What about Captain Cooper's legendary flight this day in time? Did that really not mean anything? Surely there must be some link between the discovery of this information and this date...

And anyway, it'd have to be "Astronaut Mike Dexter"!!

His legendary flight was May 15th, 6:04am PT. Nothing happened. Landing was 4:24 PT May 16, 1963 so I guess something could happen tomorrow.

Again

Sorry, I know you've probably moved on, but that map, with the key on the road, seems to have a hidden image on it... Not sure if anyone has noticed it or not... The field above the key image looks photoshopped, especially when compared to the Bing map Razz

The field, i'm guessing, has been turned over since the Bing snap, but if you zoom out so that it just about fills the map box area and blur your eyes a little, you can see what appears to be a human shaped figure lying down... I think it's a box, with something locked inside (hence the key underneath, and the strange 6628 number at the side of the key, a combination maybe?) Just look, for me, so I know I'm not crazy! There's a head on the left hand side and definite other features that suggest this.

Also, on this website, http://www.realwebsiteworth.com/rocketpoppeteers.com thought it was funny to see the name of a location to the left of where the RocketPopp's server supposedly is; "Surprise!"

Has anyone also noticed the giant dotted "X" on the field just down and to the right of the key? Not sure what significance, if any, any of this information has, just thought I'd share what's on my mind while we're waiting for this site to open it's doors!

- Ryan

What did everyone pick as their Astronaut Names?

I am Duke Starshepard!

I picked the obvious one... Gordon Cooper.

I was doing some digging and realized something. The Astronaut, L. Gordan Cooper, had the nickname of "Gordo" not "Coop." I don't know if this is significant or not, but might warrant further digging.

Was kind of wondering about this myself. Being an ARG, they may simply being using a version of Cooper that doesn't cause any legal problems for the folks behind this game. Hence "Coop" Cooper, dropping the L from his name, so on. Wonder if we can get a determination on whether Col. Cooper (RW) is IG, might save a lot of time digging for something not there. Do dig the fact that he helped write "In the Shadow of the Moon" instantly thought of the Poppeteers logo.

Maybe coinkydink, but May 22 is the final day of an alignment of Star Regulus, the Moon and Saturn, all visible in the Northern Hemisphere.

I was thinking that "In the Shadow of the Moon" could be important, so I cropped the moon from the picture.
