Dont forget that you can also use the letters on the board.

That would make more sense, since in the rules of scrabble, no tiles left == game over.

From NA-CAT, "when I play tic-tac-toe, I get my head into every move."

What if it isn't who is in the pictures, but the directions they are looking? This could be indications of which squares to look at in the superposed tic tac toe games.

1 - center
2 - center left
3 - lower right
4 - center left (or upper right due to eyes)
5 - upper right.
...

I haven't been able to work anything from it yet, the associated square is often empty, but thought I would throw it out!

I get "Turn -To- Face -You"

Coincidence? Smile

Like your thinking a lot! - unfortunately turn_to_face_you.wav is a 404

Thinking aloud... maybe that was a further clue for the bottle tops?

On the scrabble board: Play C, L, and M around the A in BANS to get CLAM. Then play the remaining H, O, W, D, E, and R after the C in CLAM to get CHOWDER. Like this:

CHOWDER
L
ANS (won't line up unless I leave off the 'B')
M

All letters used, no rules broken, and the result:

clam_chowder.

Edit to post complete solution. I learned my lesson from last week, when I took the time to explain everything before hitting "submit" and then someone else snuck in with the solution first.

The problem here is that when player one plays the clm, that empties their tray and would end the game, since no tiles are remaining to be drawn... that assumes that chldrwome were actually all of our remaining tiles, however.

Shad0, you're going to have to make a little more noise over there (at least a WOOT, man!) before we hear you. (g) Props to you, and to Johnny Nitro for putting us on the right path.

Tic-Tac-Toe portraits solved by peeveen in chat!

http://www.ilovebees.com/outbound/excellent_excuse.wav

Ok, he took the letters for turn to face you out of the remaining tic-tac-toe letters and saw excellent could be spelled, then excuse, tried them together, and voila!

So what clues are left? DO we know what the connect with? I think it's pretty certain that hte Tic-Tac-Toe goes with the portraits right?

I'd check the ilb.extrasonic wiki, but it's blocked here at work. Sad

I believe there are three puzzles left:

(1) The Candyland puzzle (BEEWITHH and FARNSWORTH-WINDOW);
(2) The SP .wav puzzle (BUTHONEY, BEE2_MARGARETPHOTO, and FIGURE); and
(3) The fashion photo puzzle (MARGARETS_MARKET and SMOKER).

Unfortunately I have to leave for a bit, but I fully expect you to solve all of these before I return. As Melissa would say, "Do not disappoint me."

Obviously you need to quit that job immediately. Mr. Green
