 		Hey so the private messaging line got updated! Call (619) 722-3245 to hear the announcements yourself, here's what I was able to transcribe:

Are the 4 message slots the ones we found on that mysterious message that the players who received the 4 FAILTECH ID cards got? I only know of 2 slots: 60119 and 85431. punxtr, godder, do you have your numbers and can you check to see if you got this message? This is the message recorded on those 2 slots:

I want to leave something to you. Can I entrust with it? It is something that means the world for me. You have been selected because you are trusted. I will be in direct contact soon. Be ready."

 		I received the same message as the other two. I'm not sure if I should text answer to that number, or wait for contact soon. I'll just wait for contact soon.

 		Got a message from Genus Orein's email (genusoreinSPLATgmail.com). I guess this was supposed to be sent automatically after a delay if Genus didn't return:

The people on board the stolen ship has been confirmed as a couple of Nox Ordo members. I haven't reported this soon because I wanted to investigate where they are heading. So far, they seem to have taken interest in the stranded ship in the middle of space. However, they are taking a rather precarious route of going through the electro magnetic disturbance. I will just have to pursue them through this path.
The presence of the electro magnetic disturbance is closely similar to a space-time convergence event that allows travel across time and space. I am fairly familiar to this since, I am, or rather, me and my team, have already traveled a couple of times across time and space on board my ship.
I requested that there be no rescues to be performed as in the event that entering the electromagnetic disturbance sends us to an unknown lcoation and time, there will be no further casualties.

So far, nothing new then?

 		Ok there's an update on the private messaging line (619) 722-3245. The message slots have been updated and it's basically a LONG stream of numbers. I'm on vacation today and so I'm just going to upload a recording of the message. Maybe someone wants to take a crack at transcribing or decoding it?

Just based on listening to the message and on my experience, it sounds like the stream of numbers is hex, then convert to decimal. Though there may be a switch somewhere later in the message.


Good luck! I'll take a stab at it later on this evening if someone hasn't gotten to it already.

 		Nice work punxtr, that's what I hear too. I don't know what to make of the jumble of letters at the end, or the random stream of 0's. I did notice a pause which may indicate a break between the jumbled letters:

But again nothing jumps out at me at the moment.

I received a strange email out of the blue from Inno/Rifter/fake Matthew Johnson. The subject line was "id" and the message was the following:

which is complete nonsense to me. Also, I hadn't been in contact with most of the characters for weeks now, so this is pretty suspicious that something happened. I've replied asking if he's ok and am waiting to hear back.

Today I also noticed that http://noxordosystems.net got updated to read:

This is probably not good. FYI Matthew Johnson told me he was part of the TESTA clan. Though I'm not sure exactly what that means.

 		Finally something's up... Heh, last I remember, the rifter is undercover as Matthew Johnson, right? He might have got caught while trying to get an "id" if that's the case, I suppose it's the 6 digit phone id? Otherwise, it could also be a code for the 5 digit one.

Still wonder why send a cryptic message instead of an upfront answer... Haha,

EDIT:

Regarding the second piece of the numbers

by using Railfence, 7 rails offset 3 (from the 73 that came before it)

essentially, it now says "YOUR NEW SLOT IS YOUR ID"

not sure which ID it means. Might be relevant to what the rifter has sent. After all, the message slot has reached max updates so they need a new slot. Which ID is the problem now. Rifter's message might be the clue.

 		Great work, zeighy. So I think the ID it is referring to is our ID from the FAILTECH ID cards that were sent. Mine was 05649 which I discovered by using an NFC-enabled phone to scan it. I called the private messaging line and put in 05649 and it said that the message slot had been reserved, but there were no messages, so it looks like a message will end up in there eventually.

Did anyone else who got a FAILTECH ID card manage to scan for their ID number? The easiest way is to use a phone that has NFC capability: http://www.nfcworld.com/nfc-phones-list/ I had to borrow a friend's phone to do it. I wonder if it's the same ID number, or we got different numbers. I wonder if the people without cards got assigned an ID number -- maybe Dan Miller or LAINSY might know?

Incidentally, I decided to email Fred Don with the phrase "THEMANWHOWALKSTHEWATERSOFHELL". Fred Don never replied to any of my previous attempts at contacting him, but today I actually got a reply:

ID could be either 05649 (from my ID card) or 45460. I think 04949 is also a possible number, based on it having a similar message in its slot on the private messaging line as 05649.

I am traveling for work this week so my access to internet will be limited, so if someone could keep tabs on these message slots that would be much appreciative. I'll try and check when I can.

 		Sorry for the two-month AWOL, but I'm back on this thread! Just a heads up. Got caught up in exams and forgot to check this thread after that... Embarassed

Anyway, I see most of the action has been going on on phone lines, so I'll leave that one to y'all - I live elsewhere. Unless someone can help me get Google Voice working?

I have already requested a log from LAINSY and contacted Genus and Daniel to try to get back into this.

EDIT: Google Voice working! Posse, I can keep tabs on your slots for you if you need...

EDIT 2: Slot 45460 has something! The message reads:

Well, the others hasn't made much contact, but I heard they're digging something up about Fred Don. I asked around, but no one gave me any answer, or at least an answer that actually makes sense, somehow.

Also, the stolen ship is gone, probably for good. It went out of the Deep Space Network's extended range, thus we can't track it anymore. LAINSY, however, has devised a theoretical destination of the ship based on it's last known vector. It seems the ship might be heading towards the star system named A-22. A-22 is a star system of interest because of the theoretical resources available on the star system that can provide the possible startup resources for an exoplanetary colonization. It is still project that hasn't even been in stage 1 of its cycle, which makes us quite curious as to why it is heading there. However, it is still open to speculation that it could be heading elsewhere.

Also, I've lost contact with Kaido. LAINSY is unable to locate him anywhere and I fear the worst has happened. I hope not. If you guys have heard from him, I'd be really interested to know what happened to him.


Dyou guys think this has anything to do with the Testa family terminated thing on noxordosystems?

By the way, I am Nathan Book, Chief Operating Officer of Cliffside Laboratories. If you're interested in helping, I will provide you more details that we have acquired over the past month that nothing threatening has occurred, yet.

I request that you do not inform any FAILTECH employee, personnel, executive, or anyone related to FAILTECH with regards to this issue. If they get hands in valuable information that can be used against us, they'll either crush us or acquire the company, both of which we're not interested in happening.
