While it may be a clue to lead somewhere else, it is more likely for those teams that have not solved the puzzle yet.

I don't know if this means anything, but:

The 3 and the 7 on the pic, when flipped 180°, become 7 and 3.

3737115.jpg involves an inversion of 73.

khan kubla is an inversion of kubla kahn.

could the number become 7373115, or some other combo including an inversion?

What if the reward/leaked pics are not of Xbox 360, but of the old Xbox in new clothes? MS could milk the existing Xbox game base by offering a relatively low cost Xbox with DVD capability (IR port) and optional hard drive. Hence the not-really-mind-blowing stuff leaked (I'm counting the full front render as an artist's interpretation). Nothing we've seen sofar really proves that this is a next gen system, so it could be a mis-information campaign to totally surprise everyone come May 12, with an enhanced Xbox plus the full blown Xbox 360. This is especially plausible if there is no backward compatibility.

wow lol that really is out there, but if you watch the commercial on MTV it speaks of revelation. I highly doubt that Microsoft would realease a enhanced Xbox and then Xbox360 it just dosen't make sense, they would loose a lot of money on making enhanced Xboxes...

lol! Logic is a relative thing. I'm saying that Microsoft could be releasing both... Xbox 360 is definitely coming out when they say it is... but the pics they are leaking could be of the "new" Xbox Classic, which is small, all white and has an optional HD (you heard it here first!). With no backward compatibility, MS could keep milking the franchise by offering it (and it's games) at downmarket rates. No development, little marketing investment, Xbox Live! revenue. Marketeers like to call that a cash cow. Granted, they could do it (and will likely do it) with the current Xbox unchanged, but it would really eat into Sony for the 6 months or so they're lagging behind. Heck, Sony did something similar with PSOne.

Anyway, it's just wild spec. So don't feel threatened about intelligence or anything Very Happy

Sony did this with the PSTwo as well, the new little mini ps2. Hell i know people who didn't even want ps2's before, but when they saw that thing bought one. It would've be a good idea by microsoft if they released it last year with the release of halo2. But I believe it's a little too late now, They want hype going towards future consoles, not rehashed ones.

Either way, whatever that thing is, I want one!

It looks really awesome if you ask me.

i have a mini ps2 and a really old, launch-dated ps2... as for the xbox.. well, there wern't enought titles that appealed to me to warrent the price tag (believe me when i say this, Halo2... all it did was make gaming popular... thats all... nothing that special... now i will let fanboys rant on that for a while Smile) and the gamecube... not much to say there... pretty much you pay what you get for... unless the titles are 1st party Very Happy

the "revised xbox," to be totally honest, doesn't sound like something microsoft would do. If they REALLY wanted to make an impact on the next-gen market before SONy and Big N, this is the time to do it, when dev kits and chips for PS3 and Revolution are ALMOST finalized, and will be shipping LATE '06/ Early '07.

Well thanks for the little chat about that, but maybe we can get back on topic. For a recap check the first post in this thread. I keep it up-to-date.

Dreamcast was the first of the next gen systems, but it died when the PS2 and it was a much better machine. I miss my DC. I think it's time for some powerstone2

What if..

..we are supposed to flip the filename 180 o , just as they did with the picture?? That would make 3737115 into something like SIILELE? Maybe this is an acronym, just like the 20,000 Cornishmen challange? But then again this doesn't really look like a challange.. probably nothing more than a reward pic!

I think someone beat you to it by about a month. Heh Razz

Unfortunatly this game doesn't seem to really have much hidden, pretty much simply wait for the next puzzle, solve it, wait for the next.

Sii Lele

I've been checking up on the before mentioned possible acronym "SIILELE" but found nothing.. but I checked something else.. "Sii" is actually an italian word for "Be" and "Lele" is a Car-brand! The Iso Rivolta Lele (and Lele S) was produced between 1970 and 1974 (these years keep popping up). There was only made 317 of these cars and only 24 of them was the Lele S model. It sports a 315 Ford engine. Pictures found here. http://www.highwayone.com/Classifieds/Isorivolta/IsorivoltaLele.shtml

The founder of the Iso company was named Renzo Rivolta, he is the man behinde the Iso A3/L and he worked on the A3/C with Giotto Bizzarrini, but the relasionship between the two went sour in 1965 when Bizzarrini stole some trademark names of Rivolta and took credit for the A3/C all for himself. Bizzarrini actually worked for Enzo Ferrari before he started working for ATS and then Iso Rivolta.

But where does this lead me? Nowhere.. Embarassed [/b]

For those of you still wondering about ther recent text snipets on the team pages, they are additional clues the previous puzzle, which lead to the poem Kubla Khan:

Quote:
a vision ... a sinful garden

The poem had the alternate title "A Vision in a Dream".
"sinful garden" refers to teh line "And there were gardens bright with sinuous rills".
And I don't know about the second line.

Quote:
Khan Kubla

Obvious just a more direct reference to the poem.

Sorry I don't buy it.
1. He knows we have solved it
2. If one is true then why do we need a clue to the puzzle we have already solved?

I don't agree. gamem8ker already said that "just another day and another challenge, right? sometimes, the truth is a little harder to find." I think that there are mini-clues inside these answers that are supposed to lead us to a greater truth that we haven't found yet.
