I have also tried using a mirror directed up for the top and down for the bottom, it works on most parts but Im not sure it works for all, if somebody else can have a look that would be good.

It almost looks like numbers ... 98045 or 96845.

edit: another idea is to work on the coded text.

if the message is from our friend, then V14 might very well be "ZOE"

I had a thought that the file names mean they are the second of three images, so maybe there is an up1, down1, up3 and down3 to go with the other two sets of numbers,

Perhaps instead of rotating the images... perhaps the two pics serve as a filter?

Perhaps if you print them out and hold them up to your screen the black parts will block certain letters/words while the rest will let the others through?

Just a thought... because maybe we should think outside of the box on this one.

Gonewild - that was the first thought I had when I saw the PRINT thing at the top, but i don't think it would work what with different resolutions and things... if anyone wants to try it though...

there are only 2 things i dont get - why does the H have the random dot in it, and why does it have triangle ends when it could have just as easily had square... I'm not sure this is correct imho :S Just my opinion though, it just seems... odd...

That's been bugging me, too, those diagonals. If I were going to say they formed the edges of a letter, I'd say it would be a rounded letter like O or D.

I like the idea of it being one of those cards one puts on a page to read a message, but then that does depend on resolution etc, so it doesn't feel quite right either. Hmmmm...

Do you remember the slanted ends of the t's in 100% Satisfaction. Well it looks like this could be of the same font with the slanted bits.

One other idea would be that "v14" could be Zoe's friend, Leo.
