Is Worry (at StolenA3) a plant?

What do you guys think?

Posts Poster from Atlanta (first time anyone's seen it) & now posts new Gunter message.

I'm new to ARGs, does this normally happen?

Also, doesn't it seem like there are only a few hundred people working on this? It's nowhere near the 1 million number Audi used in their PR.

What do they have up their sleeve?

EDIT: 2nd idea, is Worry Virgil?

Well, as stolena3 is an in-game fourm, it is perfectly plausible that Worry is an in-game character. The fact that Todd is posting material supposedly of Gunter on the front page pretty much confirms that yes, Worry is an in-game character. (As to if he could be Virgil - who knows. I wouldn't put it past the freak to have a split personality.)

As for the 1,000,000 number: just because there's only a bunch of us playing on UF and stolena3 doesn't mean that there aren't a lot more ppl who have at least looked at either VKOC or LRR from the stuff at the Audi shows or from the blog ads. How big a number it is (and if it's around a million) I have no way of knowing.

worry

I guess worried could be in-game but more likely just another player to me. In the Search for the Hidden Urns game, the in-game characters were clearly defined. Maybe someone has found a new angle to relate to the game.

I don't see them using a character on the board to shill the game, they have put Todd in place for that. I know that early on, because I had so many posts on stolena3, someone thought I was an in-game character.
I haven't had time to be around much since then, so I assume that has gone away.

And, this resulting confusion is one of the many reasons I am glad that in-game characters or shill aren't allowed to post here at unfiction.

Except that he posted submitted audio that is clearly not available anywhere else. Worry must be in-game. At least he hasn't posted here.

Also, if you look at his posts on StolenA3.com, he is decidedly monosyllabic.
That would fit in with a PM who is trying to advance the plot, but not "shill,"
"comment," or "give away any extra info."

worry

so who is Worry then? If he or she is a character, what is the role?

I'd say the role is to give the plot (and us) a little bump in the right direction.

Worry posted the Atlanta poster, so we know what to look for in the other 8 cities.

He also sent in the Gunther recording. Not sure what the purpose of that was, other than for telling us where the SD cards are in the other A3s and that he is not working alone.

I'm an ARG n00b so I may be way off base.
