Staring you in the face song

I've searched for this on this forum, so I hope that my first post here isn't a big trout. I've been reading this forum all day.

Anyway, I decided to Google the phrase "Staring you in the face" and immediately came upon these lyrics by Eric Stuart. They seem strangely apt.

I thought that the mentions of "a sign from up above" might refer to the horoscopes and Capricorn logo in the H* and Hiding Room respectively. And the "Maybe the prize is in a different place" line as well.

Just a thought, I hope my first post is worthy.
