Wow, it looks even more like the Aqaupolis than I thought. Even the website is eerily similar. Freaky.
And this 3D rendering looks JUSt like that one that what's his face did...

What's even funnier, check out this comment from Fark:
Quote:
I can't believe I have to tell you people this. The hotel is a fake. This was one of a trio of websites created during the big lead-in to Matrix: Revolutions. Basically, they flashed a website onscreen during the preview and if you went there it was a sort of email, webjournal, fake website thing. You know, like Ilovebees.com. If anyone but me was part of the email game they played where you could subscribe to the one girl's blog and try and figure out if she was in the Matrix or not, then you'd remember this as one of the semi-secret links from the page.
Guess why it hasn't updated?
That's right, because the movie came, stank, and went.
So sorry to disappoint, but it's time for all y'alls to take the red pill.
As for the Dubai one? I know not.
/Woot! Mah first scoop.
This guy's mixing up his realities.

Ok, the similarities, as Joe pointed out, are striking
Here is Aquapolis:
Here's the Poseidon place:
As you can see, the Poseidon place looks almost like a cross-cut of AP at any one level - with the exception of alpha and beta modules being attached at the ends, as opposed to standing alone. Heh, let's send them AP's "blueprints" for consideration! They would only need to expand their construction by 900+% achieve AP's grandeur
Hm, I wonder if they are planning to keep any constructions logs online! Steve, you should pitch an ARG to them (but, of course, a happy and safe one... or... eh... yeah, maybe not)!
I have to say, this is the weirdest coincidence (or whatever category this better fits in) I've had/seen in a long time

I like the "how safe is the resort?" question in their FAQ. Hee, well, as anyone knows, that would depend on the relative self-awareness and general disgruntlement of their security system.
They misspelled the "safety" image in their overview section. You can't make a typo on an image . Especially not on an image that just has the one word on it. If you're dead set on making that one wacky typo, do your best to make sure it's not on the image that says "safety" (or, alternatively, "saftey"). That's just insane.
ARG-Fest-O-Con 2010, anyone? Or, y'know, possibly not.

For those people who are afraid of flying but who aren't afraid to be trapped underwater for 8 hours?

Look, it's a fish!
Look, it's a big fish!
Isn't this pretty?
Look, a fish!
Look, it's a fish!
Isn't this pretty?
Look, a fish!
Look, a school of fish!
Isn't this pretty?
Look, it's another fish
