yeah it was - was about to say.
"it looks like each letter is personalised with the numbers corresponding to letters"
it looks like we are going to have to wait for the other 332 people to see what numbers and letters they have

first thing that comes to mind about the tourist map is that it could have some parallels with the London Underground map ( http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/pdfdocs/colourmap.pdf ). Maybe the same as part of it, simplified? flipped? It just seems to me that the circle line (London) and the Carmine line of that one are very similar in shape, but a different way round...

can i just say in response to belga - i know what you mean, initially when i saw the firebox ad i thought "oh- is that all it is? a card game? great- so now our underground alternate reality puzzle solving brotherhood becomes something for annoying 11 year olds to trade in school playgrounds"...
but i have to say it does seem to be more than that- they're obviously keeping the web-based ARG side going, and there has already been a live meet mentioned, so i reckon it's just an ARG that's so big it had to have a "way in" for normal folk out there.
and to raise 100k for the prize they have to make money somehow... in a way, i think it's truer to the ARG philosophy than the ad campaign ARGs (not that I'm bashing them either) at least this is a game on its own. Sure you have to pay, but what's free these days?
and while i'm here.... holy *****! it's all gone mental! took me an hour to catch up on new posts this morning!

I think people's prejudice against things like Magic:The Gathering (nope, not into that at all thanks) is turning them off this new card angle. It's going to be much more than a trading card game, The fact is, this thing is so huge that we need some physical artifacts to help us through it. It's better this way. At least it's not 100% web based. I'm pretty thrilled to have got a parcel, and I'll probably spend a few quids on more. But maybe I'm a sucker for a shrewd marketing scheeeme.
Bring it on!

Has anyone outside of the UK received a parcel yet? I wonder if they are shipping anything outside Britain. If they do, I guess we may have to wait a couple of days...
