Luckys Vancouver

I just heard back from one of the 9 - Lucky's.
They will have cards soon but they are not sure when. Apperently they are only allowed to sell to walk-in customers.

I went to Play Lounge yesterday as it was kind of on my way to Uni for my exam. I spoke to the guy there and he wasn't too sure when the stuff would be arriving, he said something like a couple of months...

Anywho, I gave them my e-mail address for them to contact me when they get the shipment.

It took me a while to find it, since the sign that says Beak Street isn't actually visible because of the construction works on the opposite pavement. I passed the road once and then found it on the way back. Its a pretty small shop, but is packed with lots of stuff...

I've also been investigating the final location as Cape Town.

That's interesting madam o'brien that they are only allowed to sell to walk in customers. Suggests maybe that each shop will have (some) different cards, so a large degree of international cooperation may be required. Very cool.

i don't think any shop will actually know what cards they have giving that they are sold in (i presume) sealed packs, so no-one knows what cards they have till they buy a pack.

Unless they have packets specific to the country / shop they are sent to, with the firebox ones being random.

All sorts of possibilities!!!

so people are still getting packages? There's hope for me yet.
/me sits by his mailbox with a big stick, ready to beat the postman into submission if he doesn't have a parcel for him.

I can see the headlines now: "Postman Beaten Near to Death by Vexed Puzzler" and I'll be like, I know that Puzzler!

Anyway, I'll have my package number by tonight... *rubs hands together*

Firebox may be the exclusive online retailer for PPC cards or somesuch. Firebox seems pretty involved in this whole thing, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were getting something like that out of it.

I had sent in the wrong zip code Embarassed so I think it took the post office a bit of work to get me my package, but I am thrilled they did.
