Erm, just something silly I've noticed which I haven't seen anyone else mention, the bottom says "Bring your completed wordsearch to..." blah, implying this was made for PxC residents (since we can't go to that address), however above that is the earth website implying this is made for earth residents... Erm, yeah, doesn't make much sense to me, that's all...

Is it possible that we can bring our completed word search to their web presence? For instance, forumulating a URL on whipsmartice with the word "paint," "paintdry," "grass," "grassgrow," or "hello" in it? None of the obvious seemed to work (folder name off the root, *.htm, *.html, *.swf), so it could be the answer has been found and there is no further work that needs to be done. ...but it would honestly be cool to find an as-yet-undiscovered part of the Whipsmart site based on this card. Very Happy

Those last thoughts were also what I was thinking, too. After all, as far as we can tell, the only 'interface' we as players actually have with Whipsmart is via the website...So, is something going to turn up on the website specifically in June??

I don't see any reason why it couldn't do...

Admittedly, if we could get hold of whatever the virtual equivalent of a scoop of ice - cream would be, I'm not sure how it'd help matters...

This is taken from a London tube map. Waterloo is a large train station in the south. The pick up location is possibly along the Northern line.

Where can I find a better (ie full) scan of this text?

The Nine of Diamonds is also related to other cards--#181, Purple Maze, Upper Left, "Down, A, B, Up, Up, Right," has a Ten of Diamonds in subtle grey text in the lower right (Not pictured in the scan on perplexcitycardcatalog.com). Chances are these cards will be linked in some way; Violet is particularly good at poker, too, so she may be interested in this development...

I just can't wait until I can construct a Royal Flush of spades.

hi,
I have just been given this card as my first card!
(oh dear - I am now hooked!)

Can someone explain what ROT means to get to the answer?
I see that I am going to have to stretch my brain cells some more!

Its possible that the paint dry thing was just added as a joke and when you can finally answer puzzles perplexcity.com you just have to fill in the wordsearch.

I don't think the answer is paint as when you remove the wordsearch letters the message becomes misspelled...

Quantum Cherry

Has anyone else noticed that after the punchline for "What's a ghost's favorite ice cream," the phrase "He just loves his Quantum Cherry," pops up for a fraction of a second? I got a screen shot of it.

Wonder what the signifigance is.

No problem - ROT is short for rotation. Imagine you have a big wheel with all the alphabet on it. If you wanted to encode a message you could set your cipher key (the thing that someone else would need to make sense of it) to 3. Then for each letter in your text you rotate your wheel 3 places and type that letter instead, so A would become D, B would become E and so on. It's a technique that's been around for centuries and pretty easy to decode even if you don't know what the key is. Take a look at the tutorial if you want to find out more about this and other methods of encryption.

Well there is no urgency to this question! This has been discussed numerous times, as it has happened throughout the game. Our conclusion is that it was a ctrl-v for pasting, without the ctrl being held. We have discussed this many times, most in depth here.
I am getting tired, as I am sure others are, of telling you to search! It really clutters up the forum, and annoys the players.
