 		Weirdness and near official confirmation
via MS Xbox world

It appears our favorite insect logo is on a billboard in the soon to be released game Forza Motorsport from Microsoft. The link has a picture and the billboard is in a video, I'm looking to see if another source has a vid or pic with the logo in it.

 		Wow, nice find. If another source confirms this than that pretty much proves microsoft is behind this. Not that i had any doubt after seeing J Allard's ant shirt.

FYI. I have emailed someone at IGN to ask if they could confirm/deny this using their final build of Forza Motorsport. I will update this if they get back to me.

 		Sweet. The video also has it, and with a different car, and it's clearly not photoshopped in.

However, I'm always the skeptic... Modded Xbox maybe? I mean, I've seen Master chief drive a Yellow warthog with surfboards in the back...

I agree caution is needed in persuing this lead, but I really think we should investigate this further. What else are we doing?

If it was 'hacked' into the game by swapping out the existing image with this one, it would have to be done by the developer of the game or somebody with an early copy. Doesn't hit US retail shops til 05-04-05.

 		well, iunno, forza has way bettter graphics than that pic. Is that pick like an earlier build of the game??

 		well maybe the wierdness is more....
Hello all,
As I am new to all this you can trounce me later....
However, a couple of observations.
1. On the oft mentioned game Forza (it was in the GDC and one of the picture rewards). The picture of the red car has a number 3 on the headlight and a "R" type of symbol down on the bumper area. It's also in the "S" picture.
2.The link to the GDC on xbox.com references to deeptree.asprx and then the "I" picture has trees on it and all the trees have white dots on them.
3.Also a mention to muse.com is wierd. The full tour ends with a multi colored "painting" which is really a chaos print. The "who what where when how and why" are just sections of the painting broken down. The numbers for the ages in the why section have some sort of meaning.
I will let you know what kind of reply I get to Warren's e-mail.

Well it looks like deeptree.asprx is just the code for the xbox.com video menu system... deadend I think.

 		Someone else and I mentioned this in another thread. The latest challenge (4/29) required an e-mail to be sent to gamem8kerSPLATourcolony.net. Well of course, that address got overloaded and some of the e-mail bounced back. In the return header was the words "eldeman" and "contest". Eldeman is a giant PR firm that has worked with Microsoft, helping with the initial Xbox launch as well as ilovebees. And one can only speculate why it's being called a contest and not a game...

I don't think that the game is Forza. Read this:

Project Gotham 3 confirmed for Xbox 360 but will it be a Launch title?

Microsoft's Xbox Live Research Team has recently run a survey which confirms that Project Gotham Racing 3 is an exclusive Xbox 360 title and will also potentially be available as will other titles as part of future Xbox 360 LIVE bundles which will retail for £59.99 and include a specific title such as Project Gotham 3, 1 years subscription to Xbox LIVE and an Xbox LIVE headset. Although the survey confirms Project Gotham Racing 3 (maybe they will even call it Project Gotham Racing 360) as an Xbox 360 exclusive title it doesn't mention any dates we wouldn't be surprised to see available on launch day of the next generation console although this is currently only speculation and not confirmed by Microsoft or the survey.
