Texting for clues

Has anyone tried texting Von the puzzle scribe for a clue on any of the cards (I know - it costs money...)

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the puzzles are so hard that solving without this will be virtually impossible. Crying or Very sad

(Sorry for starting a new thread - I couldn't find anywhere else to post the question)

Personally I think the text for clues is more for people playing on their own with out the resources of the UF boards...I'm sure between us we can solve them all...though the difficulty step up from purple to black was kinda hard so I dred to think what the black to silver step will be Exclamation

Were you introduced to the 24-digit number? ...well, at least we -know- that these things will be puzzles. Rolling Eyes

Oh, and I'm going to clear something up while in this thread. Texting for clues costs 50 pence?

yeah 50p plus standard network charge from the looks of it

Random Idea: the 24 digit number was purposefully uber uber uber hard so they could ascertain how difficult to make the silver cards

i think i would faint if, after searching for weeks, we finally get the 'rarest card' out there and it is silver and blank except for a number.... a 24 digit number...

I texted to check, it took 15p off my credit but I didn't get a reply.
Asked for the clue to #001, presumably the easiest one anyway. =P
Only one I figure we -know- will exist. If they exist.
