[MTV Xbox2] What will happen on May 12? Discuss it here

I don't think we will see the Xbox itself, I think they will see a few screenshots from games. It will mostly be celebrities telling us how great the new Xbox will be. I am not expecting anything much.

ok, so lets get this all figured out...

Yes, SOMETHING will be unvieled on ALL MTV's across the world.
We dont know if it will be the XBOX2, but it woudl make sence... although... guess what, MS is freaking out.

So is MTV to blame for the OurColony stuffs or Is microsoft infact telling us SOMETHING else will be displayed... there was a thread about an "enhansed xbox" somewhere, but that still seems illogical to me...

Wow. You guys are thick. The whole enhanced Xbox theory is just that MS will do both things as part of an Xbox revitalization program... they will unveil both. The pics we're seeing from Our Colony are the enhanced Xbox Classic pics, but on May 12, we will see both systems, and Xbox 360 will be a real surprise that no one has seen.

Anyway, it is only a remote possibility.

The rumors say that Xbox 360 will be sold late in this year in Japan and probably early 2006 in US. So maybe they will put up some kind of mini-movie starring Elijah Wood where they show off some game demos and some features of the system. If the rumors are true, the sale in Japan is just a few months away so I guess it's not too soon to show the whole package, but I still believe they will keep some secrets. I dont' think they will just have Frodo saying "Well, this is it.... " and just sit him on a couch to play...

No. They would not release a system in early 2006. That's marketing suicide. It's always got to be out for the Christmas season.
