Jut to reiterate the point clearly here: as of 8th June, 2005, we seem to have a Sentinel based implication that the city perimeter runs for about 120 miles. There is perhaps a question over what counts as 'inside' the perimeter and what 'outside'...but I'm guessing that, in this case, most of the City is considered to be within a boundary perimeter and forest etc. surrounds it. It's not like, say, ancient London, where the perimeter of the walls didn't necessarily incorporate the entirety of local dwellings - hence, the City (per se) and the inhabited area were *not* coterminous.

I'm a particular fan of the great instructiveness of the very top card...

But it's very interesting to see more of the map...and there are intriguing things marked sometimes, like the location of Aiko's house. Now why would that be significant? Are we going to have start working out which exit routes the Cube thieves might have taken? Or who met whom in the appropriate region of the City?

The map is great, so detailed and pretty big.. makes you want to collect all the cards, but now that would cost way to much, unfortunately.

now if the PMs would - after the map is solved - release a posterlike copy of it... *hint*hint*

I notice you have the piece with Violet's Apartment on it in your spare pieces.

We know that Violet lives on the Mobius Strip, and it looks to me like that piece fits below the piece with the "Lower Mobius" subway station on it, but with a bit of a gap (We may experience a lot of these gaps if the cards are trimmed to size after they are printed).

ah-haa, this business about Mobius area answers something i'd been dwelling on over the weekend. we can see a big fFigure 8 loop of "The Mobius strip". There's not a lot on it, as such. fFor a social hotspot, it isnt that, you know, hot. so then i was thinking the mobius strip is something larger, like a strip along the bay. Which, i guess, is now verified. Mobius is a fFairly large district. So when you hear about the mobius strip fFalling down, it may be only the (actualy fFairly small) fFigure 8 section with about a dozen buildings on it.

Latest versions of map & spare pieces are here in Quick Reference. Quite a few of the pieces have fitted together, some with the curve of the river in the centre, some with road names, and some because we know where the area is.

if its a true mobius strip then its twice as long as it looks -- folks can walk around enjoying themselves on the underside of the road Smile

Very Happy

and Centric Artifiical Rainforest looks a little like the eden project
