We are not sure but, there are no other mp3's sent via the podcast that have anything like this hidden in the comments of the file

OK, I'll keep messing with it. It is possible to get some Hex values out of it by elimnating all the zeros however the string is not legible. It has "haxa" in the middle, not sure what this means now but I may be getting somewhere.
When you talk of "we", I presume you mean ARGonolists. Where does your team discuss its findings? I thought they were also based here within unfiction?

haha ok the friend.....he almost died laughing...you see...this is just standard for any file, the code. it's called a 'checksum', which is basically the result of a difficult algorithm calculates the sum of all bytes in a file.....it's used to check if a file is intact. but it's OOG so to speak

But why would it end up in the file comments and none of the others have that, all the other mp3's were encoded using iTunes, so I figure it would happen to all if it is what you are saying. IMHO

Anyone notice the title of the file, "XBOX Morse" I thought this was a little strange, since all the other ones had the same title as their filename, not to mention it just throws the XBOX affiliation right in your face.

I see your point, and its quite a big one. This is the first time we have had this thrown in our faces. Perhaps a hoax? Is the source legit?
