Nevermind, I know the solution to it now...you add the number of dots on the fringes of a die with a dot in the center. So a 5 = +4, a 3 = +1, and you total them up.

the trace gave me the ip of the user (presumably) i then can visually trace it (city, state, etc)

"Petals around the rose" is a game that is played with dice, bill gates did play this game, and the only reason that specific time is famous, is because it took him ALL DAY to figure out the puzzle.

im not supposed to say how it works, but for the sake of gaming i will... LOL.

when you start playing the game, the person who knows how it works says this line: "The name of the game is Petals Around the Rose. The name is very important. For each roll of the dice, there is one answer, and I will tell you that answer."

the point of the game is to figure out how the dealer is getting the answer, if you figure it out, and can tell the dealer the answer 5 times consecutively, then you are appointed to "Potentate of the Rose, one all-knowing about Petals Around the Rose and sworn to secrecy about the method."

you then are sworn to secrecy to never reveal the answer...

but, like i said, for the sake of gaming, i will explain.

the "Rose" is any number on a dice that has a dot in the CENTER, i.e. 5, 3, 1.

petals around the rose are how many dots are around that center dot, just add all the dots together, and walla... for example a roll of dice: 5, 3, 2, 6, 1 would equal: 6... (4 dots around the fives center, and 2 around the threes center)

now that i have revealed the secret i must be sentenced to eternal pain in the prisons of the rose... JK
