Nisha Needs our help

Remind me to stay on your good side.

it's tragic for him to end like that. Im not sure what you're implying
but I was no where near Indio. I left that same night after the failed
mission.
This just shows the stakes are getting higher and higher.
What I need to figure out is how to get ahold of Gunter.
Do any of you retrievers have any ideas?

Sorry,
I was unaware of your relationship with Myke. I assumed he was "hired help".
Getting back to business, are we to assume that Gunter now has the SD
card or do we need Gunter's help to "extract" it from whoever does?
Nisha wrote:
Im grasping at straws but since we've lost the trail of the cars it
seems like the only other person who might have the info of where the
next car is, is Gunter.
Question is, how do we find him?

Let him find you.

Apart from getting the list of all the A3s from Emden and locations from Ian, then staking out the cars (too many cars, too little time), I have no idea.
I bet little Worry might be able to help her though. Worry's so good at finding odd things. What the price would be, that's hard to tell.

Re: Nisha Needs our help I think the easiest way to find Gunther right now is to check hospitals... that cough he has can't be getting better on its own.

I say we contract Worry to locate Gunther. Whoever Worry is, (s)he obviously has some mad stalker/reconnaissance skills. We should have Nisha sent Worry an email asking to contract Worry's services.

two ideas Someone might want to suggest these to Nisha if you think they are good ideas:
1. Ask Virgil where Gunter is. We think Virgil is controlling Gunter anyway. Maybe she could just ask Virgil to help her out without indicating we think he is managing Gunter's whole operation.
2. Watch out for Ian. The goons who were with Gunter had a way of tracking Ian, somehow - maybe relating to the information he downloaded from the first car-- anyway, if they can't find Nisha or the car, Ian is the next target on the list.

Remember that video that Worry took of Nisha a little while ago, if Nish can remember the time that she left her Hotel room, maybe we can get ahold of the Security tape from the Hotel, then we could maybe find out who the "Worry" fellow is. If Nisha could find that out, we may be able to find more info on Gunter.

Some of my own emails
Quote:
Considering the recent news clipping Worry just sent, and who the most likely prime suspect is, I believe either of you talking with Gunter would be a bad idea. Maybe ask a retriever to do it? Perhaps they can pose as an associate with mutual interest and wheedle the tracking info out of him.

If my talking to Gunter is a bad idea, it's certainly a worse idea for a
retriever to attempt it. What I need to figure out is how to get ahold
of Gunter.

My idea...
Quote:
If a retriever is slick enough, all they'd need is a phone number a few convincing fake documents to get the info.
Let's say we have someone whose "mutal interest" is they also landed in jail due to your actions. An initial phone contact with an email, followed by some of those press clips supporting said claim, and maybe a few more touches for versimilitude should be enough. The setup could be a plan to go after the next car as a team, so Gunter will have to spill the info before the meet, and then the retriever doesn't show up. No face-to-face contact, no danger. (Not too hard to make an untracable call either, if you're worried about that.)
We've got a lot of talent around here, I'm sure someone has a knack for forgery.
Of course, getting Gunter's phone number is the tricky part. I suppose it's too much to hope for he used a tracable cell when he left you a message in your box?
But a no go on the phone number:

good idea but no dice, i dont have a number for gunter

I added two responses to this...
Quote:
The best idea I've heard from the retrievers so far is to ask Worry. He (or she) is awful creepy, but also has mad tracking skills.
I agree that if we get a location rather than a number, you'll have to be the one to do the job.
Also...
Quote:
Considering Gunter and his unfortunate exposure to mystery meat, two other places to scout:
MC GOWAN'S IRISH INN
73340 HIGHWAY 111
PALM DESERT, CA
(760) 346-6032
DURTY NELLY'S IRISH PUB
72286 STATE HIGHWAY 111
PALM DESERT, CA
(760) 674-8225
Closest to Coachella in the Yellow Pages. If you like I can try to get a bigger list with map locations.
Then a response....
Quote:
Personally Im not even sure Gunter was anywhere near Coachella. He's
all bark and no bite if you know what I mean.
He's prob hiding out somewhere far away from the action

I was putting together the wiki on Florence , and I remembered that we had addresses for Gunter's company in Florence. Maybe that's a lead to check?

I emailed Nisha about contracting Worry's services to track down Gunther. Her repsonse:

great idea, in fact as much as it creeps me out I emailed Worry a couple

I'm not sure if Nisha is looking for a specific answer here or if she really wants us to plan the entire next move for her, or what.

I find it a little odd that Ian and Nisha seem to have all but given up on the A3 from Coachella. I mean, as far as we know, the SD card is still on board, right? Surely the best thing to do would be to track that A3 to it's current location and try to swipe the SD card again

Email her, and ask. My guess is that she thinks Gunter has already filched the SD card, so the Coachella A3 vin 0228 is useless.

But she also said she didn't think gunter was ever at Coachella... so?

I emailed :
Quote:
Subject: Gunter's whereabouts
I would suggest you or Ian check out Macungie, PA, ASAP. I have a
feeling that Gunter is linked to that town, and specifically the house
in that picture from the first SD Card Ian posted on Iannet. There's
obviously something significant about Macungie, PA, or why would Gunter
have it on his SD Card? That's the first place I would look if I were
trying to find Gunter, stateside.

Looks like Nisha is going to Macungie, whether Ian likes it or not (he wants to send the "gamers" instead).
