[website]The Interpreter movie website game

The website for the new movie 'the interpreter' has a fun little game where you have to solve clues and crack codes and stuff to try and prevent an assasination attempt. It shouldn't take too long for some of you guys to do but it's still a pretty cool timewaster.

Thanks for posting the link! I'm feeling dense though.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I've gotten to the point where I found the suspect garbled message in the s africa newspaper archives. I guess I need to use the reference # 17264752 to unscramble "twinteg drie van het vterde" but the solution is not coming to me. Sad

This ssems to be South-African, which is closely related to Dutch. It literally translates into:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
twenty three of the fourth, which may mean 23 april?

Wow, something I actually beat. Bartmans on the right track:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
enter that number as the date of the incident to move on.

BTW the hints suck, don't bother unlocking them.

Picture/Number code:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
So when you input the date, you get a message with 8 images. Fill in the country that the picture is from, you get a referrence number.

From Left to Right, top then bottom:

1
2
3
4 Mexico: Inca/Aztec temple (?)
5
6 Australia: Ayer's Rock
7 Italy
8 India: The Taj Mahal?

Fill in the blanks as you're able.

Nice fill in. Lemme see if I can't give this some context, since the email from TK suggests that the subjects of the picture itself might mean something.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1 Brazil Statue of Christ atop Corcovado in Rio de Janiero
2 Switzerland The Matterhorn
3 South Africa Possibly Table Mountain?
4 Mexico: Inca/Aztec/Mayan temple (?)
5 Turkey: The Blue Mosque in Instanbul
6 Australia: Ayer's Rock
7 Italy; The Vatican
8 India: The Taj Mahal

I figure it should also be noted that the numbers 17264752 correspond with the numbers that come up when you type the countries in.

Some confirmation/verifcation would be appreciated.

And stuff...:>

I got stuck one step further:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1 Brazil Statue of Christ atop Corcovado in Rio de Janiero
2 Switzerland The Matterhorn
3 South Africa Possibly Table Mountain?
4 Mexico: Inca/Aztec/Mayan temple (?)
5 Turkey: The Blue Mosque in Instanbul
6 Australia: Ayer's Rock
7 Italy; The Vatican
8 India: The Taj Mahal

17264752 represents letters you must take from each contry name.
1st from Brazil is B
7th from Swizterland is R
and so on spells: Brooklyn

You do get a result in the search, but it's an about.com page... and it doesn't seem to be a valid answer for the front page, i'm obviously missing something...

Hope it helps.

Enter "brooklyn" as the city in which it will take place, to move on to the next one.
