[QUESTION] Writing *not* in stickers With all of the questions about writing possibly hidden in the upper-right sticker, has anyone noticed that there is writing specifically not present in the lower-left sticker? "LOST.THE CUBE reward:" and that's all. Do we simply fill in the blank for whatever currency conversion we want? Is the reward something to do with Mark City? Why is that sticker the only with a photograph? Does anyone recognize the airport/transit-station/mall/whatever is in the picture? It is hard to tell what kind of location it is--some people are carrying what appears to be luggage (or perhaps just briefcases) and some are carrying plastic shopping bags.
Sorry, I have a bunch of questions, but no spec. Does anyone else care to put forward some speculation?
For reference, a scan of the stickers can be found here: http://wiki.incognitus.net/ppc/index.php/Parcels

That blank sticker shows a figure in Yen in the photo on perplexcity.com . Also note that the URL shown in that photo is not on the sticker on the wiki.
Though I would have thought if it was designed as a 'write in your own figure' type of thing they would have added another white strip to make it easier to write on, and still included the URL.

Mine is Yen/URL-less too. Maybe only those mailed to Japan had them...?

It's still a bit odd that we get them in euros/pounds/dollars if it's going to be localized... Maybe they were just prototype ones on the website, then they realised that noone's playing in Japan? Meh

I find it odd that several of the photo's have been identified as being from Japan and the Video was shoot in Japan and the reward is offered in Yen but i haven't really seen any special effort to draw in Japanese players... there have been "real world" events in both the US (the Ny library) and UK (Abby Road) and newspaper articles in both places... *maybe* the china morning post was supposed to bring in Asian players but its still not Japan specific.

I have moved all the talk about the sponsors here , as it is entirely off-topic to this thread. /me points to the topic: Writing *not* in stickers.

i didn't realise this wasn't covered.. i mean so many posts who checks them all?
i assumed we all looked into mark city??? no.
comeon, not even a little?
http://www.markcity.com/aboutus_e.html
as the aboutus suggests, its a 'digital city', who knows seems like there's something about japan in this arg. which would be cool of course.
funnily enough i dont remember there being a turning transparent cube on the main site . owell, who knows, might just be my dodgy memory. tis of course nothing fun to transrate into engrish tho
and we have some discussion going on here and here

that cube has always been there (or at least, always since we got our stickers!) - i mentioned it on this thread a while back

that you did. odd that there is a cube there at all, might send off an email to their info guys to ask as to why. you never know. does looks unrelated game-wise tho
(ps search return only two threads but not your post. time to start reading threads or shut up on my part )
but to specifically address BriEnigma's first post, i think it might be a shopping mall of some sort. photo at first gave the security cam look, but i'd say its probably just a digicam shot from one of the upper levels. but as they say a picture tells blahblahblah, looking into the characters below mark city and the display case centre top. will be tricky to track down the actual location from an online search tho...
EDIT: ok found it wooo
here is one angle
you can see photo for sticker was taken right of the stairs/escalator looking down.
more here
yeah stoked
location is a positive match: Mark City Shibuya
