Its not in widescreen though, its in 14:9...which is weird as thats the format used on analogue television as a compromise between 4:3 and 16:9...

Watch it Rep... some greenhorns here wil overanalyze every word you say and go on a wild goose chase, even if you say it's OOG.
Very true. I will be more careful in the future. Sorry if this confused anyone. It truly is OOG. I read about it years ago, and just thought you guys might like the old story.

It seems the challenges are becoming less about colony co-operation and more about the people who are online at the right time, with a bit of luck.

I find it extremely funny that the TXB player who solved it first still hasn;t come forward. i wonder if it's someone who's not even active on the boards.

So this is what I get for being holed up in class all day. Damn you senior lab!
Oh well, this is the first challenge I've really missed, so I shouldn't complain too much. Great work guys!

and what do people want?
when the puzzles were solved quickly, people complained. so we got some that took days of work and study and were solved, and people complained it was too hard. now it's quick again, and more complaints. the problem is, once someone's got it, there's only a 10 point incentive for anyone else to get it. and once it's posted, it's easier to look it up than work it out.

to me it looks like part of a "not allowed" or prohibited sign. A circle with a diagonal band accross.

I think it's a screenie from the Xbox 360 boot video. (You know how the current Xbox plays the video of some green electricity that is zoomed in on to reveal the Xbox logo when you turn it on? Like That)
Just crazy spec.

360 Logo That image brings to mind this one...

Just imagine the reward pic is a spherical boot logo that is angled and is spinning towards you to reveal the X. Substituted the green core with silver in referance to the new system color.

Has anyone seen this clue?

This is an actual printed magazine. This planet x challenge was scheduled all along.
Niburu is a mythical giant planet. I remember the story in bits. The whole idea of it is it is a gigantic planet, bigger than jupiter. It's hollow, and flys between two stars at crazy fast speeds. There's some variations to the different sources of the myth, which say it captures planets inside of it, and races around with them, and others that say the inhabitants are the ones responsible for creating man kind in the first place. A race of super monkeys to do their bidding. As far as variations go, i'm sure there's more to them than that, like the planet is solely on our star, just in the outer solar system, or that it is a navigatable spaceship class planet.
Hey we're not the only generation that told scifi stories. This stuff is all written down in history.
Some hippy Style links WARNING! the contents of this link should be viewed as FALSE allthough they do explain the modern hippy impact of what the mythical story of Niburu is. It talks alot about the origins of the name within all their bullcrap.
