to clarify, theres a 10 percent chunk of me that believes the story of the game is true. not talking the cards or prize, talking the alternate reality, cupe, sente.

yeah i know what you mean about mariella! it may be a mistake though- all the ones i've seen haven't had her anywhere near it- unless they have a different presenter each show... anyway she's only the host, and won't be fronting the PXC segment.

And, my ghod! How many times will we think this game has started before this game starts?!
This is just PPC's variation on the theme we saw Tito using regarding his eBay sale (i.e. any publicity is good publicity). How better to keep it in the public eye, to keep people looking and gather players than this?
I'm not knocking them, its a good marketing tactic (but it does get a little tiring on those of us who have already 'started' )

The new text on the firebox site ...
Quote:
We've been informed by Sente that the cards will be made available through nine stores in nine different cities around the world sometime before the end of May. It is our understanding that Firebox will receive stock at or around this time as well.
... suggests that the launch won't be till late May.

Believe it or not, but the Group 333 launch was a preview for players, not our official launch. You didn't really think that was it, did you? Expect to be reading about Perplex City in all sorts of places that are totally unconnected to computer games…
... wow
I don't what more they can do, other than blow up a city or something and then let the world know that they have to find the cube.

Yeah, wouldn't that just be the thing? And right after I booked a slow-boat ship to the very spot, of course. By the time I get there, there'll be a Nebu-Disney right next door to my campsite.
Always a day late and a dollar(Lek?) short, that me.

Interview with Adrian I just wanted to voice my relief and happiness with the interview with Adrian Hon that posted here on the Unfiction homepage yesterday. So many of us were worried that competing for points was where this game was headed and that the cards were going to be the main focus of the game. It no longer seems that way, and Adrian even seems to think that with where the game is headed that the collaborative nature of ARGs should stay intact. I'm also eager to see where things are going, since he said that Group 333 still isn't the official launch.... how many teasers is PXC going to have?? Can't wait for more, and now that I have a glimpse of where things are headed, I'm sure myself as well as many others are here to stay!
[EDIT: merged with existing thread. yanka.]

aswome interview. It sounds as if this will almost be a who dunit type of thing, and the PMs want us to have a a good base of general knowledge of PPC in oder to maximise our chances of solving the mystery. I love that it sounds so immersive, and the level of detail they put in! *sits eagerly at computer waiting to have mind warped and twisted by new developments*
