[Update] Quirky Acuity June 7 - Recons info

OK, well I've spent the weekend thinking round this Recons business... it all seems pretty straightforward except for one point - what excuse can I give them for wanting to come back? I've already taken the tour, received the leaflets, watched the presentation, waited in the meditation room for the holy light of Gyvann to rest upon my forehead. If I say I want to do it all again because I'm so committed to the religion it's going to be a bit difficult to say no to prayer-time, which would be my only opportunity to snatch the thing. So... since I find I have some allies over on Earth - any thoughts? All suggestions gratefully received.
Oh also, Peter the puzzle-solver asked for some more info about the Recons, the Cubeheads etc. So, how it works is that there's one "Brotherhood of the Six" to which a few different groups claim they are the legitimate successors. There's the Brotherhood in the Old Town, who are really fairly harmless old buffers - a lot of people attend their services at holiday time just for the songs, the atmosphere and the cube-shaped cakes after the service. They're the largest group of Cubeheads in the city. The Recons are a splinter group. They're far more into radical action (not that they've actually done anything dangerous... so far... but they like to talk big) and withdrawal from the evils of modern society. Hence the farm on their compound - they're big on self-sufficiency.
well, at least she answered my question, but now we've got to convince her/come up with excuses for her to go back to the compound

Can't she just sneak in? I mean, they don't have any advanced technology to screen vehicles and stuff coming in with. Could she get a friend to do the tour she took last time, and hide in the boot of their car (or whatever perplexians drive)?

That wouldn't work, as she would be spotted in the compound, and it may be locked or something. That is why she has to do it at a prayer time.

What that girl needs is a neuro-suppressant device
It would be really useful to find out more about exactly what goes on during prayer. For example, does everyone else close their eyes? Do they all bow in a particular direction (so, if she was at the back of the room, she could easily slip out)?
Think we may need to drop her more mails in order to get this sort of info from her.

I think sending someone else is the best solution - then there's no need to look for an excuse, and less likely to arouse suspicion
Wouldn't they leave a newcomer contemplate their decision whilst they were in their prayer group meeting - like they did with Violet the first time?

Just so i understand what she's telling us:
There's this brotherhood of the six. Whoever they are. Apparently they died off a long time ago, and fFor whatever reason their legacy was not as clear as it could have been. so there's a fFew groups of religious off-shoots who claim to have the one true message of the cube. She mentions two: Brotherhood in the Old Town, and the Reconstructionists.
I'm paraphrasing this to make sure we all understand the importance: The Brotherhoodof the six may be some sort of saviour collective, and most of the cults which we will hear about spring fFrom them.
Thanks, Violet, fFor that info now go teach your sister how to be informative, too.
