I tried E-Mailing Brigid at the adress: bigidSPLAThelpmefindjon.com but have had no reply, come to think of it I've tried sending lots of e-mails and had no reply, except the auto-response mails.

So I registered with Flickr and sent Brigid (If it is the real Brigid) a mail, just some arbitrary question regarding Jon and the Book of Star.

She replied with the following response:

Quote:
Jon found the original copy of the book at Hilberts. I asked him what it was for and he said he was having trouble decoding it. That's why he went looking for the Aleph.

Another of his crazy ideas!

Brigid
XX

We pretty much know all this already, she hasn't replied to the second mail I sent her.

All this is a little suspect if you ask me as it isn't really keeping in game.
Why Flickr and not some other photo hosting web site? There must be hundreds of them.

The photos may be genuine they may not be but they don't really offer much in the way of clues to solving the remaining locations and values of the symbols, they just ask more questions than they answer.

I'm really just covering old ground here, so I apologise, just getting frustrated as it's gone a little quiet again.

weird

I think it's unlikely this is in game as it was luck that we found it. And that just seems so out of character.

But what do I know...??!!

About ingame and out of game sites:
Friends United was an out of game site that Jon used to get in contact with us or provide clues, thereby making it an In game site, without the "Are you 18 years old?" question. Wink

So I'm thinking this is really ingame....

Yes the Friends re-united site is out of game but was brought into the game by Jon pointing us to it in his cache.

He gives us the link in the 14th August entry of the cache, thus helping us find the clues, the Flickr site was found just at random by Meak.

So we should still take this info with a pinch of salt.

i still don't think the photos have been proven as IN game.
i mailed her through flickr and haven't got a reply... whereas some people have

it's hard to tell what's going on anymore so we might as well keep it in mind until someone finds the answer!

Brigid sold stuff on ebay, and I don't believe that was linked anywhere.
So I wouldn't dismiss the flickr thing straightaway.

However, I'd much rather she answered emails from the helpmefindjon.com account, rather than through the flickr messenging system.

About 't4'

Sorry, I searched for this and found no results but someone's probs already said it Embarassed
Anyways, mathematically speaking 't4' is the fourth term of the sequence. So if we're thinking about the Fibbonacci sequence, the fourth term is 3.
Hmm...
If this clue is a red herring, so be it, but hopefully I've added something noone else has said.

PS. In desperation, other 'answers' for t4 could be 'tree 4' (!) or even that TV programme on channel 4 (!!)

*hits head on table*

This game sucks

Channel 4 movies are sponsered by Stella Artois who are celebrating 10 years of Stella Artois Screen (by selling 568ml cans for half price at Tescos! Wootness!) So maybe something is gonna show up on T4 sometime.. who knows.

Also, I mentioned this ages ago in another thread about going into Barclays bank and seeing a sign saying "where's Jon?" Well, I was in there on Friday and saw another sign saying "You have to find Jon!". I didn't get a chance to ask about it cuz I only saw it on my way out and I was late. I am going into town tomorrow tho, so if it's still there I'll ask what it's about.

Where was that, misery? If it was London then no surprise really, but anywhere else and it might be that they're being spread around the country.....in which case I'll pop into town after work tomorow and see what I can find.

Bloody irritating though, since if it IIIS calling people to join the search they won't find any more clues yet.
