Missing: Since January sequel

I received this email today. From the translation of the text at the end of the video it appears there will be a sequel in the future...hopefully the near future.

As long as there's no stupid flash games anymore, I'm all for it. Interesting story, if the actual search-and-solve model left a lot to be desired (namely, too many FAQs coming up on searches). Maybe if they kept it to subdomains, so we could tell in-game from OOG sites, it would solve the problem.

Yeah, that was a big problem after a while. You'd Google something like you were supposed to, and in addition to the ingame site you were looking for coming up, you'd get hits to walkthroughs for the game just below it.

Hopefully they learned from their mistakes and will do something to correct that. Maybe their own search engine? Or puzzles that don't rely on googling? There's an idea - maybe they'll have well thought out puzzles that require your actual brain to solve! Wink But seriously, I'd probably buy the game just to check out what they've done better (or the same).

and here it is, almost a year later, and the sequel is "Coming Soon!" -- and it's not a full sequel, but a rerelease with extras.

MISSING: Game of the Year Edition
Also includes the 13th Victim Expansion Pack

(This is not an endorsement, having never played the game myself, just passing along info from their newsletter.)
