Well she sounds like a sweet old lady (albeit one who is likely to hock a loogie in your eye if you sit too close while she's talking). I wonder where Gunter gets his mean streak from?

Mrs. B: Hellloooo?
Nisha: Umm... Hello, Mrs. Banderwine?
Mrs. B:Yees??
Nisha: Hi ... umm... this... this is kinda weird, but my name is Susan Star, and you probably don't remember me, but I went to school with your son Gunter in Prague. Umm, we actually dated for a while...
Mrs. B: uuuh... you were boyfriend, girlfriend?
Nisha: Yes! [stutter]... actually, it was quite a long time ago... you see, he's told me so much about you when I knew him back then, and ... and I'll be honest, I just moved near you. I moved to Allentown, and it's really lonely here, and I don't know anyone.
Mrs. B: That's horrible dear. Well, if you need a friend, you are more than welcome to visit me.
Nisha: Ohhhh, that is so nice of you to say that ... I ... I'd hate to be a bother.
Mrs. B: Don't even think of it. I am just sitting here, not doing a single thing.
Nisha: Uh oh well, umm... ok... well, uh ... would a visit today be ok,... do you think? I mean, I ... I could really use some cheering up.
Mrs. B: Of course, dear. You have my address?
Nisha: Umm, yah, I think I do. Yah, it's... Gunter gave it to me in a ... in a letter a few ... a few years ago, and ... umm... I guess it's ... it's the same. Umm... Ya, I have it. Thanks ... so much Mrs. Banderwine. It... it's... it's really going to be so nice to make a new friend.

Wow. Nisha stutters a lot.

I would say this is Nisha's "Social Engineering" skills in high gear. Smile

The old woman didn't know anything about Gunter's whereabouts. She
thinks he's still in Europe "buying and zelling ze art."

Im out of ideas and have to sleep. You figure out where we go from here.

Looks like it's back to the drawing board.

Doesn't his mother have a phone number for him or anything?

Man, this being a dead end really puts a sticking point in things. It's like we're missing something, but what?!

I bet she does have a number for him, and I bet she's telling him about the nice old friend of his that came to visit...

I'm sure there's got to be more to this than a confused old lady. The four pictures in the 1st SD card were definitely designed to identify Macungie for some reason. Either that or it was just Gunter getting sentimental about where he grew up :sniff:

Happpy Mother's Day, D'Oh!

Not that Gunter is a model child, but he probably cares about his Mother. Mother's Day, the busiest day for the phone companies and florists in the United States is this Sunday.

Any bets that Gunter will be home to see his Mom?

I feel very silly for not thinking of this sooner. Should someone just tell Nisha to hang tight and do surveillance?

I totally agree with Rose. It's hardly a coincidence that the "Gunter's mom" subject came out just in time for Mother's day. Maybe he'll show up, or, at least, he'll call mom on sunday. And I bet Nisha knows how to tap the old lady's phone.

She should also be on the lookout for deliveries. Who knows, maybe Gunther will send her some flowers and we can get some info from the card?
