[META] [FEEDBACK] Perplex City Card Catalog

Throughout various lunch hours in the past week, I moved the card catalog to its own domain name (http://perplexcitycardcatalog.com/), made a few enhancements, and incorporated Ehsan's suggestions.

I know the site is not going to please 100% of the people 100% of the time, but I am doing my best to get it useful, usable, and completely without any legal grey areas. This should make most people happy. The current features of the site include:
  • card fronts, backs, and details (all watermarked, fronts and backs resized to 300 width, detail image left at uploaded resolution)
  • users can contribute by uploading scans (approved by a moderator, of course)
  • links to relevant discussions
  • (TO DO) printable contact sheet of card image thumbnails (nice to carry around--especially if out card swapping)

The best pages to look at as examples are 219 and 170, as these are the only ones for which I have found hi-res scans for the detail section. (If anyone has hi-res scans of the other cards, feel free to point me to them.)

I assume that everything is now perfect and that nobody will need to give any feedback, except for much praise. Wink No, really--feel free to comment on the current design and functionality--praise or flames. I'm always ready to listen to constructive criticism and the site is quite adaptable.

Wow, Brian, that's some awesome work! I have high-res scans of the other cards - I guess I'll try to upload them there now, to see how it works.

I lookforward to seeing the list more populated, and if you need help looking after it - i would love to lend my services when I get back from my roadtrip ( may 22nd or so )

Great work! I have no doubt in my mind that this will become an invaluable resource later in the game.

Heres a high(er) res scan of the yellow card.

This is great! Good job, i love the thumbnail view of all cards.

I'm only being picky here but the suggested design proposed one card image with integrated hi/low res, as opposed to two card images.

Sorry for nitpicking Wink

Reverse of cards

I have high res scans of the card backs of all the cards, taken originally from the wiki. I don't want to put them up, as I know we are not supposed to - can I email to you - is that within bounds?

It would be really good with the card backs if you could put the card number on - it doesn't currently show - and would make them easier for everyone to reference.
