of course some of those pictures were prototypes....DUHHHH

wELL IF THERE ARE A WHOLE LOT OF PICTURES THAT LOOK THE SAME BUT ARE DIFFERENT COLOURS THAT OBVIOUSLY MEANS THEY ARE PROTOTYPES OR DIFFERENT RELEASES...

I think the latest pic with the camera and headphones and etc is not a recent picture...

Because everyone wouldve had to sign a form saying they can't take pictures....

Which obviously means this was accidently leaked or Microsoft wanted to juice up the mtv special and the E3 shows...

The controller matches the render control from the same day...

The camera doesn't look spectactular but it is something Microsoft shouldve released for the first xbox....

The headphone looks awesome and obviously plugs into that port in the controller...

The remote look good but also suggests that there will be a windows homepage or something... because of the button near the bottom with the WXP logo...

it also has the supposedly "xbox button" that takes you to a page for xbox live and all that stuff...

Many people on engagdet have been saying this looks like a cr*p piece of hardware but they are probably little ony fanboys ( I have nothing against sony just sony fanboys ) I think this design is much better than the first and does look awesome...

But if all that is said comes true the price range would probably be form $399 to $600 unless Microsoft are realy cost effective...

The game 2 days to vegas looks awesome the graphics looks great and i think this will be like GTA but betta...

Alan wake also looks awesome but i dont know what the game is about...

Oh by the way who said anything about a new xbox....

it could be Microsoft Home center or sumthin....

Considering that it will include such great stuff and will eb an all rounder WINK WINK 360

what did that have to do with speculation, all the colors from the prototype pic to that machine on display were the same pretty much from what ive seen.

I dont think saying theyd leak what the console looks like to juice up the mtv special is a valid comment, its the whole reason to watch the show. How many people watch a basketball match when they know who wins.

Im going to continue thinking outside the box, this is a big event, first next gen console launched since technically the dreamcast

In one of the other threads i heard a guy say, i expect them to be updated... yes well um

(in another topic in this forum) Someone said additional content was being filmed for the mtv special, and how elijah (how ever you spell that) lacked a lot of knowledge about an event he was at.

And this from IGN who have on show the pictures make this comment

"We can't officially comment on the authenticity of these pictures,"

Im going to continue to sit and stew in my paranoid state and wonder about the things to come...Think outside the box... the revolution is coming.

you know guys I just realized something: MS is making itself extremely vulnerable by being the first company to release details on their next-gen console, but especially by probably being the first to bring their console to the market. if Sony times the releasedate of the specs of their next-gen console well, they could just convince people to save their money when the MS xbox becomes available and spend it on PS3 instead....your thoughts on this?

lot of ps3 info has already been made available, the machine is set to be apparently 3x more powerful then xbox 360 (According to rumors and various sources like kotaku), i read somewhere the cell chip in the machine will run at 4ghz and that it was official that the console will be using blu ray.

Though i have to doubt the blu ray part because its not even close to breaking into the market, therefore becoming a standard and affordable.

PS3 will obviously end up more powerful then xbox360, its the games that are gonna sell machines.

I think MS may know they cant yet deliver the cell chip technology that sony will be bringing and hence why there getting in first and establishing a market.
