Aren't the .kgb files in this folder opened by Kremlin?
Has anyone tried to open these files?

I've tried... used the same "einstein" based passwords that i've been throwing at ppics2. I'd guess that they are based on the crossword somehow...

drbilson over at the stolena3 forums gets all the credit for this.

in his first post he writes:

I think I found something while in a book store yesterday but don't know what to do with it. I just got home this morning, so this is my first chance to post about it

The "gebrochen" image pieces that assemble to a maze look like they make up a poem or riddle. I was in a Borders yesterday and saw a book called "A World Treasury of Riddles" and found the poem from the maze in that book, listed as coming from Germany. I didn't have the gebrochen thing with me of course but I think it was the same as what was in the book. It had the answer to the riddle to be the soul.

Unfortunately, I've been trying for about an hour now and can't find any zip files that the soul or soul unlocks as a password. Damn I thought I was on to something.

today he figured out just what that riddle answer meant:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Got it! I had a feeling all along that the weird file names might be encrypted.

The file named flxzcxd.kgb - flxzcxd is vignere encrypted with thesoul from the maze puzzle and decodes to methods. Which is also the password for the kgb file. Inside is a word doc with a picture on it of a list.

Ha! I knew that darn "soul" thing had to be something.
