Broadcast fame!
Category: tv, 02:50 PM
I spoke to the guys at MC on Friday (even though my Dad's not so sure I should... something about neither of his daughters knowing when to keep quiet. I think he's still a bit annoyed with Violet about that interview) and they were super excited about the fact that a broadcast feed service called the BBC were in their studio filming them talking about Perplex City! It seems that Michael and Adrian are going to appear on a "television" program called The Culture Show, which will be shown in the UK on the 12th May at 7pm UK time. I think how this works is that you have to make sure to watch it at a particular time... don't quite get that, but anyway, make sure you catch it!

If she doesn't understand the concept of viewing a program at a particular time, no-one mention to her anything about having to pay a licence fee in order to watch it - that will surely blow her mind

Cool - going to spread the word before hand so when I actually mention this to people, they don't get that glazed 'who is this geek' look!
On a slightly off topic note, how come I never see these updates first! I spend all day refreshing and waiting, with no luck so far! Well, apart from once, but still...

the watched site never updates...
Oh and i'm super jealous of Perplexcity's on Demand TV programming system... PVR's are nice but i'm ready for the next step as long as it's not also a pay-per-view system.

There is also a topic discussing our representatives on the show here!
Apart from that, I don't think you can get it outside the UK. The BBC doesn't stream it, and BBC America doesn't have anything about.
Do you reckon they could stream our bit if we asked nicely? Or could someone from here do it... legally?
Anyways, am sure it will be available from lots of nice souls not long after it airs...

Does Scarlett presume that we are we reading violets' blog?
Scarlett hasn't actually mentioned violets' interview on her site but now she puts a direct reference in. (http://www.quirkyacuity.com/archives/2005/04/azkaban.html)
