I seriously don't beleive this IGN article regarding 4orty-2wo running this game. Like, how do they know? I really sense IGN is just assuming they ran this game becuase they ran ILB.

IGN has been erroneously reporting that 4orty2wo was behind OurColony since the beginning. Looking at all the reports they have had on it I would guess they haven't been playing along. Besides wasn't there a hint that Edelman Marketing was behind this?

I sent a somewhat irate email to IGN regarding this - in particular asking them if they had a source to back up what they're saying. I suggest others do the same. There's a feedback button at the bottom of the page with the article.

i recommend that who ever was behind this never publicly admit it. this was an incredibly poor 'game' and sure as hell not an ARG. i'm glad i dropped out early.

Yeah, I posted about Eldeman awhile ago. I'm petty sure they were hired out by Microsoft to set up an box 360 marketing campaign. Think about it, you'd need a really big PR corporation if you want to get a special on MTV. That took lots of money and organization. Eldeman may very well have hired out the ourcolony stuff, but ultimately they are in charge.
