[EP III] Anyone interested? Just wanted to know if anyone was interested in seeing Episode III when it comes out this summer.

Yes. Not expecting it to be good, but I do intend on seeing it.

Same here.
For those of you that may not know, the Episode 3 trailer will first air during the March 10th episode of The O.C. The trailer will then start playing in theaters on the 11th. Reported here.
Let's see if this trailer does for The OC what the episode one trailer did for "Meet Joe Black".

This might have been more appropriate in the Various & Sundry forum. Just sayin'.

I'm excited, but definitely for things like the space battle that will open the movie, and not so much for story or acting. And yes, mayhaps posted in ye wrong forum, aye.

I'm going into this film with the exact same hopes and fears with which I went into the first two prequels. I really, really, really want this to be a good movie. Seriously, I want something that doesn't just look breathtaking but also has a coherent plot and rich, vibrant characters. Also, I'd like a character not named after a Green Day album.
However, do I really think this is going to be a good film?
No. There's a couple of reasons for this. I think GL is writing his scripts after he's already green-screened the the requisite scenes. Plus, his lack of motion-capture seriously mars the scenes between CGI armies. Those are just technical issues.
The first two films didn't feel like standalone films in the way that Empire or Jedi did. I don't know. Whatever.
By the way, this post was made in order to obscure which film I'm speaking of so that Clayfoot, God bless him, may remain confused.

I have to admit that I am going with the secret hope that they kill Jar Jar.
I have a feeling that I will be disappointed though....

I think you gave it away with the use of "empire" and "jedi". It's hard NOT to know what those refer to.

I'll be there opening night. Just like I was for the first two and for the re-releases of the originals. I will buy the dvd. I will also most likely leave the dvd sealed in it's plastic, just like the first two. I couldn't bear to watch them again but I'm a completionist.
Now, who wants to line up with me and complete the experience!
