 		BTW anyone who is planning to come uptown on Thursday night, we're meeting at my place instead of at the bar (a block or two away). PM me for my phone number, and give me a call on Thursday for directions. BYOB, all ages welcome.

This is, of course, not an 'official' ARGFest function, just a place for people to meet up if you have nothing to do after getting into the city. If you'd rather not brave the subways alone within your first hours in NYC, feel free to make your own plans.

 		Friday morning breakfast
So there are more people here on Friday morning than I realized. Let's not waste an oppurtunity to get together.

wraith and celina63 are coming in early and need breakfast.

I thought of meeting them at the hotel and then having breakfast. I wanted to meet at 10:00 but I can make it 9:30. Will others be up then and ready to eat? We can meet outside the little coffee place with the few tables and chairs that is in the lobby. I am scouting out a good breakfast place today.

Just post here if you want to meet for breakfast, or show up at that location at 9:30.

rose, the gal that does my hair mentioned a hotel like right across the street and down a bit (she thinks it began with an "S" but isn't sure) that had a really yummy breakfast buffet...

 		Hi guys,

Mind Candy is now in the Hotel Penn Smile Fi and I would definitely be up for a breakfast meetup and we'll be at the cafe place in the lobby at 9:30am. BTW most of the rooms do not have ethernet access and the best place to get wireless access, I'm told, is from the Starbucks on 7th Street, which has a T-Mobile hotspot.

 		IMPT!!!! TRAVELERS TO ARGFEST
Two people who used the Super Shuttle today had problems with incredibly long rides around the city. Do not use them if you can avoid it!

Use either the bus which stops right outside the hotel at Penn Station or use the Air Rail. The bus is better because it makes regular stops and goes right to your destination.

Let's cross them off the list of choices!

 		Radio Plug for ARG Fest Tonight at Midnight
Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be on the radio show Beyond Strange and Mysterious tonight at 12:00PM on AM620 WSNR out of New York City to promote this weekend's ARG Fest.

This is the same show I was on a few weeks ago. Unlike that show, however, tonight ARGs won't be the entire focus of the show. Instead I will only be appearing briefly at some point during the show in order to get the word out about the ARG Fest at the Hotel Penn, the Art of the Game PM Presentation, and all the other PM events as well.

I also need to let everyone know that, due to a death in my family, I will not be holding a separate PM training session as I originally intended. I know a lot of people were interested in this and I'm sorry it just can't be done at this event.

See you in NYC this weekend.

 		A bunch of us are at the Empire State building. I've opted for beer in a restaurant on the ground floor. The rest have foolishly decied to ascend into the stratosphere. With any luck they'll get through the line to the observation deck before sometime tomorrow...

 		I'm finally here! So far I've had a newbie cabbie who didn't know how to get to the hotel penn and a hotel receptionist who wasn't very happy with the fact that I didn't know my roomie's last name. Embarassed But other than that.. I'm here!
