So if someone wants to take a stab at using that talk to see what we can get? I don't have the fortitude for it...lol

Maybe? But normally Richard just switches letters rather than just missing them out and adding them somewhere else IIRC...

Heh, gotta love Richard speak.
ericwheraebeoutimos stthetallmancisoming
He's lying apparently, because it says 'eric' not lirchard.
eric where a be out i'm so st the tall man is coming.
Could it be..
eric where you be? out? I'm so (sorry), stop the tall man is coming.
Ok, more logical is..
Eric whereabouts time so the tall man is coming.
Which could be...
Eric's whereabouts, O time, the tall man is coming.
The only thing that makes no sense is O time, which might lead to... clock.
Just so everyone know's my thinking process

eric wherE aRe you (Heh, he's in the ER)
timE aRe st----?
the tall man is coming.
ER, ER, missing letters. Darn it. Could be an anagram of the missing letters.
if it is 'time are stop' you get EROPER take out the doubles and you get 'ROPE', but I doubt that's it either.
Perhaps the clock is exactly two days slow? I know I am.
EDIT -
Actually, this makes more sense.
eric wherE aRe you. time sat. the tall man is coming. (It's in Richardspeak).
Time sat could be time's at, or time is at. And... time is at what? (next word maybe?) Time is at... midnight? fairy hour? clock? hour?
Too many words. Not enough time! Time is at a premium!

I'm not sure it's possible to make exactly
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Eric where are you? Time's up. The Tall Man is coming.
Out of the numbers we have? Maybe if we get as close as possible and find out whats missing we'll get something?

eric wher ae you tim a es t the tall man cis oming
That's as close as I can get. It's missing an e and an r to get to what we think it should be

20 in hex is the ascii code for a space. 00 is the hex for the end of a string. This definitely supports the use of hex to numbers, I think we're on the right track. Another interesting thing with Hex is that 30 hex = 0 decimal and 39 = 9 decimal. Perhaps there is something else that can be done with the 3's... dunno.
Man, this Base N to Ascii converter I wrote sure has been coming in handy for this game.

=
Eric wher ae you times at the tall man is coming
At times the tall man is coming, wher(e) a(r)e you Eric?
My current thinking. Still missing an E and an R. Which might point to where Eric is.. hospital.

Okay using that, here's what I've come up with so far...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The spacing of the numbers:
5 18 9 3 23 8 5 18 1 5 25 15 21 20 9 13 15 19 0 20 20 8 5 20 1 12 12 13 1 14 3 9 19 15 13 9 14 7 00
Translating that (A=1, B=2, etc), AND using 20=space for the number in bold, I get:
"ERIC WHER AE YOU IM OST THE TALL MAN CIS OMING"
I make this out to be:
"Eric, where are you? I'm lost. The Tall Man is coming."
Errors? E, R, L, and C. What do I make of it? Nothing.

I'm not sure if this ever came to a satisfactory solve, but we didn't get any further with it, and what we have seems close to sensible. Are we considering this solved then? Yay or Nay?

Well the puzzles seem to have continued anyway so I guess it might not have lead to anything...
I'm not sure you could count it as sovled though because no one managed to get anything exactly with the letters available.
On the other hand if its just a bit of story then its not a very interesting bit and you would think there would be more to it..?
