It's all about the baby steps. You're doing quite well, really. Animal butts hold the key, you know. And numbers....

I just remembered...vonguard was the name used by the writer of the EBE story who was hanging out in the chatroom UF/BK chatroom for a while.

A ton of links on http://www.gism.net/b.html

If you're using FireFox, click Tools->Page Info->Links for a concise list of links. Many links are too generic to be useful. The words that have a hyperlink for each letter could be important.

Vonguard is the quoted name at the top of each linked SlashDot story. (Not the general area links, the specific story links).

I gotta go.

Since "red" represents the facility in which Handy is hiding, I suggest you look for a "red" building at Boston University. You might try the

Arthur G. B. Metcalf Center for Science and Engineering
http://www.bu.edu/bridge/archive/1999/10-15/features8.html

"Carved out of three industrial buildings, the Metcalf Center's space, with its open white balconies, red stairs, and exposed ventilator pipes, recalls the utilitarian design of the Pompidou Center in Paris"

Could be red herring, but worth a try.

Actually the logo is for the Boston Braves, not the sox, who used to play at Braves field, which is now owned by BU.

http://gism.net//elan/red.html -> This color represents the facility in which Handy is hiding. The Braves played there.

So I've got a floor, an e-mail address, and the color, and approximate location of the building that Handy is in.

more info on the field
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Braves Field was renamed Nickerson Field

But if the stadium was "on the west", then the red building would be east of Nickerson Field?

But there isn't anything east of the the stadium.
East of the Stadium is the Massachusetts Turnpike, and the Charles River.
The nearest non-athletic building is the west campus residence hall.
Maybe the "on the west" means west campus?

/me goes off to ponder

Hah, I was just going to post about the renaming of Braves Field. I'm attempting to find a red building on the campus, though most of the buildings are made of red brick, so this makes things difficult.

What if you look along Commonwealth Ave. (US 20 right there) as "East"... that puts most of campus there. And RED seems to be the university color.. Hmm, I wonder how many of their buildings have four floors....

What do you make of the http://gism.net/emirp/131071.html page? The news article makes mention of something the beatles did in their Abbey Road album that was ARG like.

Called and left a message

So do we have the solution?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I just called the number missphinx found and guessed the 4th floor of Nickerson Field at Boston University
All we were supposed to find was the Location and floor, correct?

Also, regarding Red and the Field:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

http://www.ballparksofbaseball.com/past/BravesField.htm
mentions the red tile roof

I think we're done?
