Yeah, whoops, I see that now. I guess that's what I get for posting for the first time. But when you say "we know" you should just say "they know," because you haven't exactly done anything, have you? In fact, you've apparently been completely silent on this thread, except to correct me.

Anyway, is there some significance to the page/chapter/verse numbers on the pages that were sent? I've read all the passages, and there doesn't *seem* to be any significance there, although if they were trying to send some kind of message in the page or chapter numbers they'd have little control over the content. Any luck with what "Fossam Saemoniste" means? I've been looking online and can't find any translation for Saemoniste.

Well, just because I haven't posted in this thread doesn't mean I don't read it, right? If I would find something out I would post it. And saying I haven't done anything is not very fair at all, since I have been active in IRC for quite some time now and solved and contributed like anyone else.

And I don't think there is any significance to the page numbers, verses or anything like that. All of the pages was about angels in some way and passages with angels in them are kinda scarce. I found out some time ago that it was the King James Version of the Bible, first published in 1611.

Revelation 9:1-11 talks about an abyss / bottomless pit .... Fossem? Could this be a reference to hell?

I've tried looking into numbers.wav to see if there's anything relavent (ASCII letters). I'm about a fourth through it... so far no luck. I also tried to audio de-steg it with no luck.

Does anyone else think the feathers have to mean something?? I think we're missing their significance.

Greetings, people. I'm new to this ARG and I'd like to help out with any puzzle-solving or investigations. I've browsed through the puzzles solved and the story so far, and downloaded some stegging programs and suchlike, but I haven't been able to come to any new conclusions. About three weeks from now I'll have a lot of time to devote to this, but until then, I'll try to use the free time I have to help. Cheers!

Ok, I'm new here, and my Latin's a little rusty since it's summer, but I'm giving it a shot.

"verbum clavigerum shibboleth"

'Shibboleth' is definitely not a Latin word, and it doesn't fit Latin grammar either. 'Verbum' is singular and either nominative or accusative case (stupid neuter noun...), and 'clavigerum' is singular accusative. The best I can make out as a translation is: "the word (shibboleth) the key-bearer."

"et nomina angelorum omnium caelestium caducorum que inter vos ambulantium"

While 'caelum' means 'heaven' or 'sky', 'caelestium' is a form of 'caelestis', an adjective meaning 'heavenly' or 'of heaven'. 'Caducorum' is also a form of an adjective, with this one meaning 'fallen' or 'fallen'. Because 'omnium' is singular in form and 'nomina' is neuter plural in form, we shall view 'omnium' as a masculine genitive plural describing 'angelorum'. In Latin, adding '-que' onto the end of a word, e.g. adding it to puella, which means 'girl', to form 'puellaque', adds an 'and' to the sentence ('puellaque' means 'and girl'). I suspect that the 'que' here is supposed to be attached to 'caducorum'. Now then, enough of my rambling; the phrase, with words in [brackets] being words I added to make the translation smoother, translates roughly to:

"and the names of all the fallen, heavenly angels [who are] walking amongst you [plural people]"

And finally...

"fossam saemonis te invenire necessite est"

I have absolutely no idea what 'saemonis' might mean, as it is in neither of my Latin dictionaries, so I'm just going to translate the phrase without it. I am not sure which meaning of 'fossam' to use, so the possible meanings shall be seperated by /slashes/.

"It is necessary that you find the ditch/trench/channel."

Glad to be of some vague use. Sorry for the rambling. Best of luck!
