WAUHF68P16AM0750014 for a VIN # is two too many numbers
could this be a puzzle too I believe that if we could relook at this file there might be a clue here??

Hmmm, you're correct, not a true VIN/doesn't follow the standard:

Well, W stands for Germany, A for Audi , but then it get's difficult/ not according to the published spec. Possibly a puzzle, possibly not, good question, but I'm not aware of a European spec for VINs, I'd have thought them to be international, will check, though.
10th character is a 6, which is OK for "manufacturing year 2006", so the VIN seems more or less according to spec, but there are inconsistencies, yes.

Or it could be to throw off people from looking up the VIN at Audi corporate and identifying the car.
