[New Site] Informant News New Link on Zoes Blog:
http://informantnews.blogspot.com/
Lots of info regarding the diappearances.
There are also links to mutimap and omniglot (maybe of use later in the game?)
Not sure why all the pics are victorian looking including gas lamps on the street and the clothes th PM is wearing. Zoe did say earlier today that they call us the 1st because our dimension was created first. but then why do they have computers.
Yay I got a mention on the blog! Im famous! lol

the articles
fit right in with what Paulzilla was speculating today...
the whole fifth is a ruse for "disappearing" people
"These allegations are truly ridiculous, and will be proved wrong in time." (from top Informant article "Further Investigation..etc.")
project PROVE?
And OMG, Russell, you are famous!

Oh and a quick thing about the picture at the very top of the page with the tube lines. This is a template that a number of different bloggers use. The PM's may decide to work it into the game but they might not, we shall just have to wait and see.

Why is this professional 3b(?) newspaper using blogspot to publish its articles? can't it develop its own website?
Is there a hint there? Or is it just the PuppetMasters being lazy?

Workers Day Parade
Over 100,000 on the streets.
Part of the crowd.
<!--[if !supportLineBreakNewLine]-->
<!--[endif]-->All hailed Fridays Workers Day Parade as a roaring success. Crowds of over 100,000 gathered on the streets of Pemesent, to watch the annual parade of the service industries. Representatives of every company in the city were present.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--><!--[endif]--> One notable exception was Hoole Corp, the cities largest employer. The company recently reported some serious financial problems and now is currently working on a rescue plan.
<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]--> Taken from Pemesent On Sunday.
I googled what the bits in brackets are and it may be a fault with my IE at work so if someone can take a look at it with a different navigator it might make more sense!
The statue looks familiar, maybe pemesent is just there name for London.
Ok the statue is The crimea Memorial, but the placings are slightly wrong. The sydney herbert statue is there but not the florence nightingale.

And in answer to your question Poorsod, at the bottom of the page is the message:

That's what it looks like in my browser.

Could pemesent be in some kind of code? If pemesent = london, it may be some kind of substitution code for use later on? Thoughts anyone?
Also how can this be a 'educational' website? It blatantly isn't a schools website...
Next contact we get with Zoe we should ask her about the statue in the picture. Did they even have Florence Nightingale, and was the other one really Sydney Herbert or someone else?
I have posted a capitalized comment on the article about the prime minister, spelling WHAT DID THE PRIME MINISTER DO JUST BEFORE THE TAKING?
Here's hoping we get an answer.

New Update on Informant News. Strange one... I'm not sure how this ties in. The story is as follows:
Here he comes again.
Third film for superstar Hammy.
Hammy the world's most well known hamster is returning
for his third feature length film. The film produced at
Pineslope Studios, is said to have cost in excess of 4
million.
The "Hammy" series of films are a surprise success
according to the films producer, "It's a film about a
hamster, and people like it!" When asked if we could have
an interview with Hammy, himself we were told, "he is a
hamster, he can't talk".
Taken from the Sunny Pemesent.
Things I'm noting:
Hammy the hamster. Is this related to hamtaro -- the ultra obnoxious animae about hamsters?
The Sunny Pemesent, the name of the source, is in a smaller font than previous sources on this page. Sounds like a pun on Sunny Pesimist kind of...
In the photo of the hamster, he's holding a slate for the film with this on it:
Hammytime
Hammy GP
101 146
I'm having difficulty making out what each of the headings are and don't have time to open w/ my lousy imaging editing software.

As far as i can see it just says
Prog - Hammytime
Dir - Hammy
Cam - G.P
Slate - 101
Take - 146
I think its just a comedy filler. The cameraman could be Guinea Pig

IMHO Sunny Pemesent == The Sun (Crappy Tabloid newspaper in the UK for all you yanks that are reading)
That'd be why there's a story about a sodding hamster.

The last time the images directory was found, someone pointed that out and within a few hours it was locked again

New Update :
Quote:
Senior Army General Missing
Last seen at a secure meeting in Pemesent.
General Michael Shmirk, Head of Internal Security, has been reported missing. General Shmirk was reported missing last week by his family but the news has only just become available. Mr Shmirk was last seen attending a secure government meeting in the control office.
Mr Shmirk's family were unavailable for comment, however issued a short statement.
"We are shocked by Michaels disappearance, this is very out of character, we are working closely with the police to ensure Michael returns home soon".
