oo er how exciting...maybe Joya is exhausted by travelling to earth all the time cause she's the one that rigged the whole cube thing...don't think its relevant but maybe she's on some drugs which is why she's being a bit odd..perhaps ceretin is making her act strangely
Why was Alejo there though, obviously still has a bit of a thing goin on..maybe she's bumped off Horace...ahh the mystery unravels.....

Sorry, I'm just surprised that it's treated so casually, even in light of PXC's medical advances. I don't know, perhaps there's a new unsuspected side effect of neuroenhancers? Someone's poisoned her key? She's being quietly assassinated? She's battling an unknown neuropathy?

To go down the more obvious soap opera route - the first question I'd be asking is, if Joya really *is* pregnant, who's the father? And, secondly, and more importantly, is she currently going out with him...or not?

Could be a plain case of guilt exhibiting as nervous exhaustion...or has she been trying to undertake an abortion on the sly? (not that I figure the medics at the PxP hospital wouldn't catch on to that - although the Sentinel reporter has clearly not been made wise to the entire situation...)

And maybe she did do something to Horace - could he have been campaigning against her having a baby as it would damage her long - term career?

And the drugs angle might also be worth thinking through - RFD appear to be in that one up to their necks...

The plot thickens...

And just what was Alejo getting into a fight about a while back anyway?

But maybe it's all a drugs business - I don't know why the theory that Alejo is serving as Joya's dealer just keeps coming back to me...

Musicians don't just become famous - they play in lots of seedy bars before someone discovers them. Alejo and Joya could both have a history . . . Now that Joya is with this new guy maybe this is all just convenient so it looks like pregnancy may be the issue.

The real issue might be the recent death of the Bernardo Holyoke (Five of Cups). Maybe Joya or Alejo knew about the secret cache in the wall because they played there?

It could all go easily enough if Alejo or Joya performed at the Academy Ball.

But then, who'd "tune in again to see what happens next week." ???

Just to refresh everyone's memories, here's the old article about Joya vomiting - posted 1 month ago.

Interesting things to note are that she's supposed to be marrying Shockley in June and that Alejo Jackson is an ex for both her and Satine Noir.
