Has the image of Violet changed in her Blog? I was sure the image was more of a full body shot but now it is just a head shot? Of course this could just be me imagining things and even if the image had changed I am not sure of any underlying significance...

Comparing the two in Photoshop I'm not even sure it's the same person! Of course, that's the problem with drawings verses photographs. (The whole head and neck shape looks different although the top and the necklace look to be the same.)

This maybe just to fan the flames of the clone/replacement theory after Violet's visit to the Recons but it just all seems a little obvious to me?

The hair is different, the glasses are different, her shirt is different, and she looks a little pissed off in the new picture... Or maybe just that her eyebrows are different?

Interesting...but it still looks like the same old Violet underneath to me. Given that the original picture was 3/4 length, 'taken' at a distance, it's actually quite difficult to ascertain what Violet looks like in that one close up. This new picture, being head and shoulders, is bound to look more detailed, and hence, different.

That she may also have altered her hairstyle a little, and has more than one pair of glasses, is not impossible, especially if she a person who prides herself on varying her style a bit.

So, I wouldn't read too much into it. Except, perhaps, from the point of view that the need was felt to alter the picture at all...

Then again, if you're cloning someone, isn't the whole point that they're indistinguishable to the original?

Okay. But if you wanted to plant a mole, and you were capable of copying somebody, then you'd make sure they were as identical as dammit, surely. Seems a bit odd to me that those attempting to sneak somebody undercover would be at pains to demonstrate to us that they *weren't* identical to the person they were replacing.

I just don't quite get the logic of what we're arguing here: that Violet could herself be a 'plant' for the Recons. is fine - but then, there's no need for anything to discontinue in any way from how it was progressing before. Surely the sleeper agent who alerts everyone to the fact that they are a sleeper agent is a very bad sleeper agent.

Alternatively, if Violet's been replaced physically by somebody else...well...on the one hand, if this person is very unlike Violet in many ways, then surely somebody who's a close friend, such as Kurt, or even her sister is going to rumble that there's something amiss sooner or later. Changing the picture on the blog seems like the least of this hypothetical mole's worries.

On the other hand, if she's an exact copy (! - and, hell, the Recons. would need some heavy duty tech to pull that one off), then there cannot, by definition, be any difference to be superficially noted...

I'm not saying that Violet isn't in deep/knows more than she's letting on/may even be a mole of some description...but it doesn't strike me that the changing picture on the blog indicates she's a different person (except maybe personality wise).

I'm not convinced she's any different, just a different drawing. It's a new month today, maybe she just wanted to spruce up the old blog for summer?
