Just wanted to say, the new Logan's Run film has not even been started on yet.
Bryan Singer is the Director and I have read that he is doing the film after the Superman film he is working on, and the last I heard was that we are to expect a summer 2007 release for this film. Anyone heard any different to this?

2007 makes sense to me but I don't know how much of Superman they've done yet. Having said that, Bryan Singer is only rewriting it. The guy who did the Matrix films is producing... i think... i'll come back and edit.
[Edit: Yeah Joel Silver, awesome.
It all adds to my point of "Why now?" though, right?]

The 'u' is still missing on teh Away message, but there's a new note on the login page at cityofdomes.net

Also, something else I just noticed, are the spaces on the page.
If you do a select all they'll get highlighted. I would expect the spaces around the index.html on cidyofdomes.net to be similar to the spaces around the login page, but they're not.
It may just be a side effect of the page design, but with all the crazy places they've hidden clues in the past I figured it was worth mentioning...

Well then, I guess they saw what I was going to attempt to do, so I take as rightfully noted not to 'hack' the website.

its true, they may be trying to tell you not to "hack" the site (thats not hacking), but it also says

Isnt the whole point of an ARG for us to figure stuff out. If clues can be found by going into the FTP anonymously then why not? If they are naiive enough to accidentally leave clues there, we win, they lose. If they mean for us to find that and get clues there, then i think that should give us much right to go into there. If they really didnt want you to access it, why wouldnt they just close it off?

Being on a scavenger hunt doesnt entitle one to break into homes for your prizes. Oh, I agree with you, ARG=ingenuity, but I would just suggest that we make sure we're paying attention to whether we're poking in drawers that we arent supposed to.

True, and I wish they'd clarify via IM to me whether or not what I was doing is wrong, or not.

The puzzles and clues will come to us, that's the way this game has worked so far. they must have been refering to the fact that we were dicussing watching the FTP. You never know, somebody might have tried to H4x0r it who is not very familiar with ARGs and the rules in which we play by.

Welcome new SandRunner (is that what we're calling ourselves?).
It is always a good idea to read the entire thread (even though there is a lot of junk mail included). It avoids that fishy smell.

Well, so far we think the countdown is this message, and that when the message is complete, the city of domes will open for business. But it wouldnt be the first time we've sat on a puzzle thinking we were supposed to wait.
