from what i gather, there were consoles, and the consoles say "IDENTIFY" and then they put their palm on it - i think a crystal is embedded in the palm... and that logs them in. Maybe theres something hidden in the crystal image?

The Crystal's are called Life Clocks, they determine your identity, which determines how old you are.

When Logan 5 identified himself the Computer changed his info and made him seem to be near his last day, so he could pretend to be a runner.

A Sandman is'nt known to run as it is, so if he had just ran without having his info on his life clock changed, he would've been caught out immediately.

I reckon the password is "Sanctuary" and the Identification will be a game name that we choose and register with the MP's once the game gets underway.

I don't think the game is on yet, we are in the waiting stage, hopefully it will start soon.

I keep watching the AIM away message from DomeCentral to see if it changes.

They show up at the bottom of the whois as servers. It looks like we might be in pregame? I wonder why Ex and I got calls saying they were accepting new citizens NOW though?

As you know, the away message on AIM does state that they are taking citizens in the near future, which obviously does'nt mean quite yet, so we have to wait till they actually start taking citizens and then apply with our game name to get into the city of domes site.

Seem's similar to SubCity Central to me. I know that some of you here were playing this with me last Summer.

I just got the call! I know this isn't really news anymore, but I though you might like some details.

Phone rang, my GF answered it. Someone asked for me by name (my real name). She gave the phone to me, I said hello, then this voice said "The city of domes is taking new citizens now! The city of domes is taking new citizens now!" and disconnected. It sounded like a recording. The interesting bit, I thought, was that someone actually asked for me, waiting until I was on the line and then fired the recording.

Breaking news! As I was typing this the phone rang AGAIN. My GF answered it again. A different guy than the first time asked to speak with me again, saying "please" this time. She asked who was calling and he said "Just tell him its the city of domes calling". So, clearly not just a recording.
I then picked up, and he said "I would just like to inform you that the city of domes will be taking new citizens soon." He repeated that then disconnected.

So, the calls are still going out. Stay by your phones.

I like the way they phoned back to correct the mistake that it wasnt starting now but would be soon! lol

I do hope it is Virtuquest as I did part of the corporate one this year which was good fun.
