Man, I wish I could get a call! I might sign up to Virtuquest and see what happens. Can someone with a steg program check the images? I'm running them through notepad, but you know, sometimes they are better than that.

EDIT: Notepad didn't pick any obvious stegging up, so it now needs a program. Besides, there was no picture distortion anyway.

I've run all the images through Stegdetect and didn't find anything, the image - name.jpg gave a false positive but can't unlock it in camoflage, used all the meta keywords as password but no joy.

Not that I rely on stegdetect much hehehe.

Might be worth someone with more experience destegging to give it a try.

Personally, I think it's just a waiting game until DomeCentral wakes up Wink

Yeah... that is a little strange...

Were there any typos before the D?

We have a D and an O now, I wonder whether this is just the mistake of someone who's fingers are too large for the keyboard.

Well, there are two curious lines in crystal.jpg (which, after all, contains the link to the login):

&'()*456789:CDEFGHIJSTUVWXYZcdefghijstuvwxyz
and &'()*56789:CDEFGHIJSTUVWXYZcdefghijstuvwxyz

the ":" might me a separator for a login?
At least, the sequence looks decidedly non-random Wink
The numbers and characters that are missing might be the key, not the ones that are present, I don't know (and the "&'()*" might not be relevant, just a marker?)

Unless it spells something different, an anagram perhaps? I think that a letter a day is quite obtrusive, just to spell DOME. Maybe at the end of spelling it, they'll start handing out "forms" for registration. I think it could be a countdown also.

Anyone interested in some background to the world of Logan's Run should check out this EXCELLENT web site:

http://www.snowcrest.net/fox/Logan.html

It's not updated a whole lot, but there's TONS of info and links. I've been following the site since I found it 10 years ago!

I strongly recommend this site too, it's amazing!! I discovered it while doing a Logan's Run search a few months ago. There's lots of very interesting information there (even for those who are fans of the film, like myself), plus you can download the audio of the complete film, before it was edited to get the certificate rating it wanted. The original version of the film was over 2 hours! I was shocked at how much had been cut out. Apparently no visual copy exists, it was destroyed.

Also, who here has seen the Logan's Run TV Series from 1977? I don't know if anything from this will have any relevance to the game, but I was lucky enough to get all 14 Episodes from a friend about 3 months ago.
