Recieved a reply from cindy

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"I already did what I was paid to do. You got the report. Now leave me alone."

So either I should have had it mailed to me physically, (don't think they want to mail to japan) or I need to contact someone to intercept the package for me. I have a feeling they won't snail mail to many datacards. that could get expensive. Either their only sending a few, or they aren't snail mailing at all, and we need to get it sent to the correct place.

Wait. What about having it sent to omnifam directly. Rolling Eyes I can't believe I didn't think of that in the first place.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Giving them the Omnifam addy only makes them respond with 'Address Blacklisted.' But i agree - they cant send out datacards to every player. If we arent meant to have the packages delivered to ourselves, it feels like we're missing an obvious clue.

Well...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
if it IS connected to Alias (which I'm pretty sure it is, but I don't watch the show ... yet!), then I don't see the problem with mailing datacards to any player. If part of the funding is coming from ABC, why not? Who says the datacard is, say, an SD card or a Sony memory stick? It could be something like a postcard or business card with some sort of cryptic message on it. That's pretty plausable. I mean, AW2RE sent out postcards to about half the players. Anyway, just my $0.02. Very Happy

Ursos, Very Happy

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Being the blond that I am, everytime someone mentioned datacard, it made me think of those hand held memory type things that are used to save locations and maps of towns, not something as simple as a buisness card! It makes a lot more sense now, and seems likely that things are being sent out.

And you knew someone was going to say it - you should watch the show. The first two seasons are some of the best TV i've ever seen Wink

Probably not really any reason to spoilerize these, but hey, why not!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Now don't get me wrong, the "datacard" COULD be some kind of handheld memory thing. Maybe the Archiver isn't even mailing out datacards. Like with most ARGs, we just don't really know until it happens. That's part of the fun!

I really should watch some Alias now. I know it's the same writer as LOST, and I've been loving that one. I'll add it to my NetFlix list or something. Smile

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
After discussing sending the package to Henk on another board, I sent de Archiver my own address. He hasn't replied yet. Probably cause i already asked him to send it to Henk, but I'm still waiting.

wish i'd thought of this sooner. tell me if you get a reply!!

Charlene,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you have a second email address, have you tried using that one to attempt to get De Archiver to send to the second address?
I'm going to attempt it, so i get one sent to Henk, and one to myself. but it might not work

He finally, finally(!!) e-mailed me after I literally begged for a reply. Have you had any word from de Archivaris yet? I attempted to mail him my address from another account, but he didnt reply, and that was around three days ago, so you should be able to have a package sent to you and Henk using the same e-mail address Very Happy

Just a simple 'package sent.' Should arrive within the next day or two, hopefully. I hope you get a reply soon!

If there is a package sent, it'll probably be coming from overseas (if they really make it realistic) so I would expect something like that to take more than a couple of days. Who knows though.

You are right, it probably will take longer, maybe end of the week, or the start of next? Letters from the Netherlands usually take around 3 days to get here, but i'm guessing that packages could take a little longer.

Well, at least this is teaching me patience!

This just in from De Archivaris:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Our apologies for the delayed response.

We are currently relocating our warehouse, normal operation should
resume in a couple of days.
