[OT] Audi Keys Confiscated as "Switchblade"

Just an interesting little tidbit I saw this afternoon. Might be fun if it happened in game.

Oh hell no. No way you are going to take my car key from me and leave me stranded when i get home. That's complete BS. This isn't just an audi thing, as most VAG companies use the same style key. So this would be an issue for VW, Audi, Porsche, Bently and others. I'd hope that this was an isolated event, but i don't think i would have been as accepting as this guy was.

What a giant load of garbage! I can guarantee that I would NOT have gone along with such a request. I would have had the head of security there, and then HIS boss on the phone!

BTW, these types of keys are becoming more and more popular. My husband's VW Jetta key does that, as does my son-in-law's Mercedes and my coworker's BMW. The TSA is going to have to get a grip when it comes to these items.
