[EMAIL][PUZZLE?] First Email from Coby3

Okay so the morse on Hallucimill page was translated to "contact Coby three" or something similar, and I did! I just asked him if he was okay and got an automated response.

address: coby3SPLAThallucimill.cityofdomes.net

Quote:
Coby3 is currently working with DomeCentral and will be out of the net circuit
for several days.

DC

Nothing fascinating unfortunately, I think it just means that we're in some kind of advanced pre-game.

I finally got some mail from coby3

Quote:
Subject: Decision
Date: Mon, 13 Jun 2005 22:19:58 -0600

Greeting's citizens and "ex-citizens." Unlike Eileen5, the person for
whom I am contacting you is not associated with the LoveShop, nor is
she currently under any form of surveillance. The person for whom I
write is arranging something big; something good; something that most
doubt exists. As far as the City Of Domes is concerned, the person for
whom I write is nearly non-existent. Yet, as this very communication
could fall into the wrong hands, minor precautions must be taken. Who
do you trust?

In the world we live in, there are three types of citizens: true
citizens - happy, carefree, and content; searchers - those that
question, need change (taken to the extreme, they can become runners);
sandmen - those that create the environment allowing true citizens to
continue with their carefree life.

Who are you? Can you find others to bond with? . . . to trust? . . .
to honor the secrets you will need to share?

The person for whom I write understands that, like a happy child, it is
a beautiful thing to be innocent, accept things as they are, to not
live a life of toil, hardship, and disappointment. The person for
which I write understands the need to explore, to go beyond, to face
challenges and difficulties . . . to live and die by your own success
and failures. The person for whom I write understands that still
others choose to set examples for, and guide others towards, what they
believe to be the higher, more pleasing standard of life.

It is time for you to choose. Once your decision is made, you cannot
go back. What are you about? Who can you trust? This is not about
right and wrong; it is about where you belong. Choose once, honor that
choice, and until further notice, share your decision with no one. In
time, you will work with others to reach your goal. Be smart. Be
cautious. Look within.

Do not rush this decision, but please respond within the next 72
hours. Include your location and, if warranted, you will be sent some
physical elements to help you along your way. Good luck in your
pursuit of satisfaction and happiness.

Can you trust the person for whom I write? As a show of trust, watch
for the sign. Bliss.

Expect no response, as I am no longer a citizen.

I got this too, I think everyone will. I just wonder what sort of 'location' we're supposed to give them.

I was thinking about it and I wonder if its really DC as his 'boss'. On the away email it said he was working for DC. And now there wont be a reply cause hes no longer a citizen, implying he wont be checking the email..so who is? ...I smell a trap perhaps..

I know I'm paranoid to even respond to anything at this point, but I think he's trying to make clear in his email that, even though Eileen5 was evil (hidden warnings or not - she still was/is a double agent), we can trust his "boss", and that they'll send us a sign to prove it (that I think we should analyze for at least a week for hidden messages). Wink Plus, I think his note that he's no longer a citizen indicates that he's now running.

I'm just worried about making a decision about what to choose. What if I choose runner, but the sandmen get cooler things to play with. Confused

Coby3's away and email message said he was working for DC and couldn't be reached. Coby3 says his boss is a she. The Mother Computer is a she. I think he is working for the City of Domes. I'm just not sure if that's a bad thing.

I'm intrigued to say the least, but seeing as the meeting was 4:30 am GMT I guess we're not "warranted" Smile

I just emailed Coby3 and got this reply from Dome Central:
Quote:
Coby3 is no longer a valid cityofdomes citizen.

Expect no response, no action will be taken.

I got this too and i'm searching for hidden codes...

edit: there's nothing there is there?

btw, if people are concerned about telling him that you want to run, simply state that you are a Searcher because that's not illegal.

One thing that really got me is this:

Can you trust the person for whom I write? As a show of trust, watch

What's he on about?

So the plot thickens! Wink

It sounds like Coby3 wants us to give our Mailing Addresses, I don't know if this is wise.

Thats the only way he can send us physical things to help us along the path we choose.

As I am no longer a Citizen, I don't really have a lot of choice, go to Carousel and hope for Renewal or Run.

You still have a choice of two, Tux Razz

How do we reply to Coby3 though? DC seems to monitor his e-mail...

I may just be going through the paranoia stage of ARG playing but I think "bliss" is the key here... We just gotta watch for the sign... whatever it is.

I agree Strings.

I'm not making any brash decisions. I'm gonna sit and wait and hope to get the "Bliss" sign.

I just hope we can spot it when it comes.

We only have 3 days to decide our path.
