INFO: Logging in at Synthasia

I was sitting at work tonight with a colleague who is from China (the Guangdong province, from where SARS originated - he's been worried about his family ever since this started) and I asked him about the login at Synthasia. We never, to my knowledge, got a handle on an alternate login at that site, and a recent interview with CabalAgent suggested that we might have something unsolved there.

Anyway, I asked him what the symbols meant, and he got a very puzzled look, stammered a bit, and told me that it was very hard to explain...

The two symbols make up one character or concept. They have to belong with another character in order to have meaning. Loosely translated, the symbol alone connotes some sort of action. The first portion of the character is a human, in that doing/action involves a human. The second part, I dunno. The thing he was saying though, is that they're a single concept together.

But, as an example, if this image were preceded by a separate character that sort of looks like the letter "I" then the two character combo would mean "work."

And then, at the end, he says, "Well, it could be Japanese, too..." Shocked

What about AnonymousFame?

Was there ever any success or official giving up on logging in at Anonymous Fame?

Apparently it was a dead-end. Least corrding to the Interview done with one of the PMs. Which is abit of a shame, because I'd still like to check out Bruce's e-mail account.
